I know that they are good in pvp...or at least i heard about that. But is there any other place i can use them? I still need more roster to grow so it would be nice to have more options
Honestly? Without knowing where you're thinking of using them, and what your other options are? Their best use is to warm your vault.
Depending on where you are at in the game and the depth of the champ roster, I'll just say that Yannica, properly geared, can do significant damage in both arena and hydra, but if you've got a big roster you might have better options.

Fair enough @Timmer This is my roster. Currently i can consistently get the best reward of CB NM and the first of UNM. I can also get the best reward of Hydra N, but cant do anything in Hydra Brutal

As to your original question, my assumption was pretty accurate. Yannica you have absolutely no use for, given the other nukers you have. Yakarl is a bit more useful, but I expect still not going to see any use anywhere except perhaps eventually Hard FK10.
So, vault-warmers.
I use Yakarl a lot on DT floors for cc. AOE freeze that can;t be resisted is very very useful.
