Pretty much this. Even if it helps me get the roughest approximation of what I'm up against, it's another piece of information to take in with the comp I'm up against, can help predict sets sometimes, etc.

It can help you read if a team is high resist etc sometimes, but it should not be used in any way for matchmaking (i am not sure if it still is to be honest)
