Since all the chests for all tiers of silver seem to be the same chest, I was just wondering from people who worked their way up through the tiers, are any of the silver (or any color for that matter) reward chests any better at higher tiers, or are they all the same exact thing?
in same group tiers 1-4 rewards are same. BUT in higher tier u get more medals for every win and get more stat bonuses fron Arena. That is good enought reason to go higher.
And its not hard to get in Gold ;)

My understanding is that all chest are different though they appear the same, I've already provided feedback regarding changing what they look like as its slightly misleading.
So to clarify Gold 1 is different from Gold 2 etc.
