Current state of the game

Hi,


I have seen other posts about this, but I figure the more feedback we give, perhaps there is a tiny chance things will change.


I was here since early BETA, and this game showed so much potential...but unfortunately it seems to be going in the wrong direction...


-The Arena is now dominated by but a few champions. In higher leagues unless you run those champions, your chance of winning are slim to none.


-There is a complete lack of transparencey concerning certain key factors of the game. Take the Clan Boss stats for example. This is one of the most important feature of the game, and we are left guessing as to what stats we should be using on our champions to efficiently fight the clan boss. Furthermore, on certain days, many clanmates report the Clan Boss to resist most of their attacks the first half of the fight...so it seems the CB stats are somewhat changing from one day to the next?


-We are flooded with packs to get us to spend more and more money; yet we are starved of new content. No new fusion, no faction wars...no game balancing updates...


-Pack prices vary based on what seems to be your spending habits...lots of shady stuff there too.


I've been gaming for many years; and it seems to me that all Plarium decided to turn this into some kind of pixel crack casino...blame RNG for everything...cash in as much as possible...relying on the gambling addiction of its player base. 


It seems as a very shortsighted mentality / strategy. I for one decided to stop spending until we get some sense that this game isn't just a cash sink for pixel crack addicts.

Not a bot. Agree completely with the author. So many players I know have sold their accounts or have quit the game because of the problems stated above. I understand that it's difficult pumping out content and need money but you charge the same prices as games like Epic7 and Summoners but have Far far less content. The potential of the game was the thing that kept me optimistic but you guys have headed in a direction I can no longer support.

Here here! I thought this game looked like it could be spectacular and supported it through beta. I spent a moderate amount of money, and put a decent amount of time into the game. Now it's become apparent that Plarium has no intention of running this game with even a shred of good sense or consideration. I will no longer be opening my wallet to them nor wasting time on this nonsense. It's unfortunate that we as players can never seem to unite en masse. If the majority of the player base were to "go on strike" as it were, I guarantee we would see a big change in how this game was run.

Can't agree more. Such a potential mobile game with a heck ton of efforts making it. 2 monthes i spent on it i used to enjoy the ride. But its seem more like casino than rpg app now.

I am a new player and love the game so far. I quit SW because all it seemed to be was an Mobile Casino. This post makes me very sad since I already bought a pack thinking this game would be different and wanted to support them. I will no longer spend money on the game but I will play it for a bit longer in hopes that they look to make the game more than a RNG cash grab. They deserve to make money but it should be by making us want to give them money and not having to give them money.


Thank you for putting your thoughts out in a rational way. We can only hope that game companies like this listen and take the higher road on their own before government intervention is forced.

Hello! Thank you for sharing your concerns with us. I will reply to each point separately:

- the Arena is certainly a tricky part, but it should not be simple, either. Receiving as many victories as possible there should serve as an incentive to develop and strengthen your champions even more. Our game designers are also working on making changes in the matchmaking on the Arena, which should soon be brought to life. Besides that, we keep track of the feedback regarding the champions that seem to be over- or under-performing and pass it accordingly to our game designers having analyzed the validity of the provided argumentation.

- Clan Bosses is one of the aspects of the game we cannot reveal any specifics about, since the whole point there is to figure out the best strategies that work for your team by constant testing. We assure you that we do not tweak bosses' characteristics, it is all about whether or not your champions' Skills/Masteries will proc and about how you equip your Champions. We are glad to let you know that the issue with the accuracy will soon be fixed and the Bosses will start to resist less :) 


- the thing with the packs pop-ups is that these deals are temporary, so we want to make sure that the players that may be interested have a chance to get them while they are still available. Our game designers and analysts are currently reevaluating packs and considering ways for their improvement;


We are also about to release many exciting updates so stay with us and you will see.

First off thank you fpor your reply. 
1-The Arena: I'm not asking or talking about making the Arena easier to win, I totally agree it should be hard to get to higher leagues. It is just that right now, it is way too dependent on just a few champs and strategies once you do get to the higher leagues. The game has so many heroes and so much possibilities, yet very little of it shines as some champs completely dominate the Arena scene. No matter how much time or work we put into our teams and strategies...it simply doesn't matter unless you are using specific champions.
2-How is revealing stats of the Clan Boss in any way prevent us from working our strategies??? Clan boss damage is highly dependent on team synergy and that has nothing to do with the Clan boss' statistics. Since you say that accuracy is bugged...then we shall wait and see when it gets fixed...because what you are telling us is right now...testing our different strategies is pointless because one of the most important stats is currently bugged...so whatever we currently try might be affected by that bug hence rendering that test obselete.

I hope this takes precedence since it is so easily fixed.

Well cant agree more i have play this game for nearly a month and spend nearly 1k.


I have no comment for content stuck i understand sometime its take some time to develop and repeat test.


But the worst thing is you set people who spend more to pay more and encourage people who never spend to pay you.

Please be consider for people who is your loyal customer and if you lost them you lost them.


I have open many gold shard but never get leg from gold which i never complain but its very annoyed.


Please remember your game are set everything more expensive than summoner war and SMW are not dominate market of this kind of game.

If you want to overthrone them you dev need very much more active and CS team need to consider of your loyal customer much much more.

Perhaps arena should be easier - there are a option where you can fight a easy opponent. So if you want to get higher rank you must fight strong opponent but if you only want to complete mission / quest you can fight weak opponent.

Hey again! All points taken into account and will be looked into. I have already provided the answers to all the points raised above. Will only add that it is not in our plans to reveal the stats that Clan Bosses have, as this would contradict our vision of the whole aspect and is likely to disrupt the already set game balance. But the accuracy fix is just around the corner.
