That's correct, you can only fuse the Husk once.

Offtopic. How`s Husk doing on CB? Does his ability deal decent dmg on boss?

I just got him off a shard and Will try him out once I gear him up, not sure if I should go for retaliation, regeneration or the shield set.

Confirmed. Husk can be collected via fusion only once.
For beginners he is pretty fine on CB - ugeared 5* 13lvl Husk deals with his 2nd ability 76k+ of normal dmg on the 1st CB. In one run he dealt ~400k total dmg. With decent gear that can be much higher numbers.

Husk was one of my first epics and he did not disappoint me. I put a regeneration set on him; with that said with all his hp every turn he recovers 5,500 hp with team leader buff “HP” i see it tick for 6k +. Also for clan boss his T2 “ dispair” hits the clan boss for 150k+ he keeps up with the poison guys i have and he is always the last guy alive due to his health
