Update Highlights 1.14

The time has come to reveal another Update Highlight and take a peek at what we have in store for you in Update 1.14.
This update is entirely focused on the quality of life for all our players, and several frequently requested improvements are going live with 1.14. Check out the list below to learn more and, as always, leave any comments and suggestions below!
Quality of Life
Artifact Filter
We are adding a new system of filters to the Inventory which will allow you to find specific Artifacts you need much faster.
As you can see, Artifacts can be sorted by Type or by Stats - whether Primary Stats or Substats - or even a combination of filters. This will be particularly useful to veteran players, who have hundreds upon hundreds of various Artifacts lying around in the Storage.
Champion Collection Capacity Increase
Good news, everyone! The innkeeper’s been buried in letters to expand due to the influx of new Champions for a while now, and he’s finally working on building a whole new wing of the Tavern. We expect it to be completed by the time Update 1.14 goes live and to double the number of Champions that can stick outside the Champion Vault! That is, 200 Champions once all the slots have been unlocked.
Clan Boss Counter
To ensure you guys have an easier way of tracking the damage your teams deal to the Clan Boss and planning your next move, we are going to add a counter to the Clan Boss Battle. It will display the number of Turns that the Demon Lord has taken and the damage that your team dealt.

Faction Wars
The improvements to Faction Wars are twofold and will touch upon the difficulty of certain Crypt Stages and the drop rates of various Glyphs.
Even with the recent changes, we are always monitoring your feedback closely and comparing it with game metrics available to the Dev Team. With that in mind, we’ve decided to make all Faction Crypts a bit easier to complete starting from Stage 8.
In addition, we are lowering the drop rates of Rank 2 Glyphs from Stages 10-12 and will completely remove them from Stages 13-14. Glyphs of Ranks 3 and 4 will get increased drop rates.
Platinum Tier (Minor)
Starting from Update 1.14, we are going to introduce a small change to how battles in Platinum Tier work. After fighting the same opponent 10 times in a day (24 hours) - both victories and defeats count - every subsequent battle with that opponent will trigger a 15 minute cooldown that will not disappear after the Arena List is refreshed.
What this means is that you will not be able to fight the same opponent until the cooldown runs out, though you will be able to fight others on your list. We’ve included this change to somewhat limit the ‘farming’ of weaker opponents for Arena Points.
Clan Boss (Revive changes)
This is really a continuation of the changes we introduced in 1.13. Starting from turn 50, the Demon Lord will apply a Block Revive debuff to all Champions he kills. This is done to even the playing field between various teams and ensure there is no single “must have” team composition that is required for this challenge.
Leech and Veil\Perfect Veil
Each of these effects is getting a little buff in Update 1.14!
- Leech will heal the attacker by 18% as opposed to the current 10%.
- Champions under Veil and Perfect Veil will get a 7,5% and 15% (respectively) damage reduction from all incoming AoE attacks.
These changes are going to have a profound impact on other aspects of the game. For example, Champions like Ma’Shalled (who also got buffed on top of everything else, as you can see!) will become even more valuable and powerful thanks to the healing output of [Leech] almost doubling. At the same time, Duchess Lilitu had undergone some changes to ensure the passive AoE damage reduction does not get out of hand, but thanks to [Veil] and [Perfect Veil] changes she will still remain a viable Champion.
Fear changes
We took some time to monitor Fear debuffs in game and will apply certain limitations in Update 1.14. Like other crowd control debuffs, it will no longer be subject to Increase Debuff Duration or Spread Debuffs effects. This applies to the Master Hexer and Sniper Masteries as well, they will no longer increase the chances of applying Fear or True Fear debuffs.
The following Masteries will now affect or include Fear or True Fear:
- Opportunist
- Mighty Endurance
- Wisdom of Battle
- Harvest Despair
- Deterrence
- Fearsome Presence
- Merciful Aid
Miscellaneous
- Fusion menu will display Champions who are required for a specific Fusion but are locked away in the Champion Vault, making it easier to see whether or not you have the required components
