and it's been suggested that this is why I have a 15s to 20s delay in everything I do on the game. and if another action happens while I'm doing something else (i.e. a scout report hits at same time I want to recall def) that lag or delay is doubled.

I know that my Haven defense has slowed my game down tremendously
the more haven defense I add the slower my game reacts and loads..

you can turn off some of  those pop up notices to reduce lag during critical operations

go to upper right wrench icon to select Ship's Riggin' and then select Notification Settings
then select show selected notifications only , then remove the red checks on the notifications that bug you the most.

I still love my Haven defense...
even if those mermaids are high maintenance
the game may not be perfect so we just do the best we can.. ;-D
