 I am 5 time #1 winner of blockading for Fame several 2nds and a few 3rds..
So I am putting my head in a noose too..

if the certain captains had recalled instead of leaving up their blockades for fame for weeks on end 
 now getting into months..   past their expiration dates har har-

I may never had thought to make such a dastardly proposal.

The real trick would be to land winning blocks in the last few hours..

many do not compete hard when the few get thousands ahead..
This would make the outcomes less predictable.. 
Your fame would be hard won. Your skill truly tested.

this is not just a power game.. this is an awesome strategy game..

I see many do not bother to Liberate for Medals.. let's kick it up a notch.. 
No one would have a peg leg to stand on to complain about getting liberated
