You need to sign in to the game at least once per 14 days in order to keep the status of the active player :)
5 new levels were added to other games on 30th November, so why are we expected to wait?

I wish the developers would work harder then that on fixing all the old glitches including the Lags that just never get fixed.They will, no doubt, Captain
I don't think they like us, pirates doesn't seem to get updates the same way the other games do other than prize level increases.
If new Prestige levels are coming 'soon', it's been 18 months since that post.

Yes, you're right, it has been a long time. Since our game team is now mostly concentrated on support and improvements of the game, new Prestige Levels may be added in future, but we don't really have any dates.
I came here to find another use for Prestige Points now that I'm at Level 10 Prestige. Why not have a contest among those of us who check the forums to see who has collected the most extra points?
My Prestige counter is at 29568 and I have the following extras:
9 - 1 points
45 - 5 points
3 - 20 points
71 - 40 points
10 - 100 points
--------------------
4134 + 29568 = 33,702 Total
Post your own count if you can beat that, maties!
That doesn't sound like too much fun, but - sadly - it's probably the most fun we'll get out of prestige points.
Let me contribute with points that are a bit more modest than yours:
14266 + 188*1 + 190*5 + 28*40 + 68*75 + 16*100 + 30*150 = 27724
