A thank you to the game artists, and a player request
I've been a big fan of strategy games as long as I can remember. One of the first I played was a collectible card game called Magic the Gathering. It was enjoyable to win, but the experience of building a winning strategy was where I found most joy. And in that joy was more than just strategy—it was the feel of the card, the flavor text, the artwork—anything and everything that gave the game flair to make it more than just a numbers game.
I find myself to be at this same position in this game. While part of a Brother Hood, and while still responsible for excellence in numbers, the flair of this game makes me nostalgic and appreciative of all the hard work that goes into a strategy game.
To the artists of Plarium—whether you be visual, musical, or context—thank you. You give lasting meaning behind the numbers.
