What happened to the chests sales?

What's up with the new chests sales? Isn't it the same as the shields before but now you can only buy it like 1 or 2 times. It was like 3 times you can buy the sales from the shields before and now they seem to have cut down on how many you can buy. The item sales seems to get worse every update that they make on this. Maybe soon there wont be any items left except rubies hehe. I like it way better where you can buy it 3 times. Now just 1 or 2 times idk if I am going to buy anymore. So much for waiting for the sales to reset back to lowest as possible and then buy 3 times. Maybe I should quit while I am still kind of ahead and not spend anymore money as it is on this game seeing that these changes really messed up my plans on buying things. How does everyone else feel about these changes on how many times you can buy on the regular daily sales that changes every 3 hours or so. Well it was 3 hours before now idk how often it changes. In any case I myself do not like it and the way it is setup. You are not done looking at the stuff on the list of items then it switches away and then you have to switch back. Annoying if you asked me.

Hi! As you know, our Special Offers are changing from time to time. So it's normal that you don't receive the offers you received in the past.

And each offer can be bought only a certain number of times. 1-2-3, etc. Each offer has a counter, so you won't be confused :)

Well I have waited out a little over 2 months for my sales to reset back to where I can get the deals for about $9.90 that had about 15,000 rubies and some other stuff in it. Now with the recent changes I do not see that deal anymore where you can get 15,000 rubies for $9.90 and another deal that was in that set of deals for $4.95 or so that had about 7,000 rubies and some items in it. My long wait has been futile and ended in disappointment due to the recent changes. I think I will call it quits on buying anymore. I have spent my fair share to keep the game running for the free players to enjoy. Unless I see changes that I like I won't be buying anymore stuff for this game. Plus with how the prize system is how it is now I am very close to quiting due to the fact that I have about 120 mil to 150 mil worth of resources banked up and the payouts are simply not even close to what I put in. Every large payout I get still leaves me behind close to 70 mil to 90 mil in banking points. Makes me wonder if I will ever break even in the game. IDK how the system calculates when to pay you out but 1 thing is for sure it does not pay me out frequently enough. At my level 78 in prizes and with that many points banked it seems like the developers have it setup to where you will always have a large sum left over after a large payout in the bank. That is how the prize game has been treating me, I don't know about other people but I guess they are being treated better by the system then I am I hope.

Just wondering if it's possible to not have the "Fantastic Offer" window popup every time someone loads the game. I understand that Plarium wants players to be aware of the current offers, but for people who log in multiple times a day, seeing this popup every single time gets annoying. Is a "Don't show this again (only for today)" checkbox not possible?

We had a similar suggestion once, but it was declined. Devs said that Offers may change during the day, some new ones may appear, so they can't implement a "don't show this again" option.

They could trace which offers were seen and show the window only when there is one that was not seen, similar to the offers window popping up mid playing (sometimes being quite disruptive if the player needs to do something quickly).

So what happened to all the nice rubies that came with these chest sale packages. It seems like plarium deducted the rubies by 500%. If I am not mistaken there were offers that had 15k rubies in it. Now the highest normal chest has about 3k rubies or so in it. I guess we don't need all those rubies so they took away 4 times of it in their 9.90 chest sale. Let alone the 4.95 had around 7k rubies close to 8k now it has about 1.6k rubies in it. Talk about taking a nerf bat and hitting everyone where it hurts the most. I for one would like to have my old chest deals back. Does anyone know how many rubies does the $99 give now a days? I haven't been in that range since the new changes so don't know but I am guess the 38k rubies that was in the $99 chest is down to like 10k rubies or so? Please change the chests back.

So now the way it works is if you buy more the better the offers get and the more rubies will be in the package? Is this correct because I am not about to go blowing away $500 like I did before to see my offers sink. I like having some items but more rubies, that way I as the player have the power of buying what I need and when I need it. I don't need some stuff like whirlpools in the mix and then deduct some 2k rubies from it. The new offers I see now for the $10 with over 2k bonus used to give 15k rubies. Now what I see is 3k rubies and they threw in 8 dread units that I doubt I will ever use. I'd rather have 12k rubies than those 8 dread units and then choose what I want to buy and maybe get the best of it from the wheel of fortune or some special sales event. The dread units are fleet tier also if you wanted to know. I may give it a shot in the future but if it doesn't look good then I am going to quit buying for good and play for free until I get tired of this game. Which I think to be very soon unless I see something I like and is worth buying to play. Other than that I'd rather go spend my money some where else like maybe help some lepers or just some poor starving orphans.

In my experience, it's the opposite. Of course, more money = more rubies, but - again, in my experience - less money = more rubies per dollar.

I only buy if I can get 1k rubies per dollar or more, including only the items that I'd probably buy anyway and calculating those items with their global discount prices. Under that, I'll pass and wait for a better offer.

For example, I'll consider taking an offer where $10 buys me 8k rubies and - say - 8 Fireships (8*250 = 2k), but not a $10 offer with 8k rubies and 100 Flying Dutchmen, a bunch of resources, barrels, medium coils, and similar nonsense I'd never buy.

However, I'm a low ruby player. If that's not enough rubies for you, you'll need to make do with more expensive offers.

After I reexamined the dates that you provided crowbar it seems like you are talking about the special weekly deals with the Ruby coiled with barnacles. Those deals are still the same as it was when plarium first introduced them. I was talking about the regular chests deals that changes every couple to few hours. Now those deals are way different now. That is why I haven't bought any chests. My question would be do the regular chests get better as you buy or did all of them get nerfed with the changes? Before the $99 deal gave you about 38k rubies now idk how many it gives since mine reset back to the $9.90 to $1.90 deals. Anyways has anyone seen a $9.90 regular chest that has 15k rubies in it like they used to have it before or did all those get taken out and the new deals replaced them.

Personally couldn't tell you about the low costing chests. Since mine are 50 dollars plus. I do admit the hourly chests aren't that great. But I've always bought the weekly chests, since the offers are generally better. Thee 99 deal still gives 38.7k though. The bonuses are rarely worth while though. But on the otherside of the coin, buying rubies at normal cost it is cheaper to take the chests.

I would rather units and fireships though over dreads and whirlpools

Alright so finally after like 3 weeks of this new system of chests was implemented I finally saw the $9.90 chest that has 15+ rubies. The downside is this... When it actually gives you the max bonus for the $9.90 chests the $4.95 and the $1.90 resets back to lowest or near lowest again. So I am guessing here you wait another 2 weeks to a month and then have the $4.95 get maxed too, then another 2 to 4 weeks for the $1.90 to max again. Looks like everything might still be the same or rather a little different in some areas but the 15k rubies for $9.90 is still there but takes like 2 times longer to get to there.I am happy that it is still there but it shows only 1 buy, maybe that 1 buy is because of the scholar item in it. Maybe after you buy it you will have 2 remaining without the scholar in it. I am just happy that I can still get the rubies and use those rubies to buy stuff from the wheel of fortune or sales. Longer wait but hopefully the same outcome will come out for the other 2 lower chests in that set, the 4.95 has a little over 7k rubies and the $1.90 just 600 rubies but 8 days in boosts time with some other resource boost and 3 pearls. Looks like I will be spending in a couple months again. Was very close to calling it quits if it didn't have the 15k rubies deals anymore now just need the $4.95 to have 7k ruhbies and I will be very happy with the game again. Then I can make a comeback on the prize game and get my units that are stuck in there out of it. You guys won't be hearing from me for awhile until i see the 7k rubies chest for $4.95. Maybe that is a good thing as I almost always have a complaint when I am posting. Have fun playing the game guys and gals and remember it's just a game try not to get upset when you are on the losing end of a beat down by your foes. Just try to relax and enjoy the game as it is and relieve some stress, don't let the game control you but you control the game.

How about limiting the number of times the window shows up then instead of every.single.time. the game loads? It really is irritating seeing that disruptive window pop-up multiple times a day. I'm sure Plarium doesn't change offers more than 3 times a day? It also causes the chat window to collapse when I close the Offers window.

I just noticed that the two icons on the right-side of the screen (below the 50% offence/defence boost icon) pretty much opens up to the same pop-up window. Is this really necessary? Why can't there be just one icon marked "Offers" which leads to a window/page where all the offers are consolidated?

Same window contains different offers :)
