Question about losing a prize battle.

Hello mates I was wondering when losing a battle in a prize will the unit's lost in that fight still go into banking or will it be lost? I am asking because I just lost a battle and a huge sum of ships along with it and am worried that I might have lost everything. Forgot to mention that I accidentally sent defensive troops into an offensive prize thinking it was a defensive prize.

The troops lost to prizes go toward the payout bank. All lost, not just those that win. Otherwise, high levels would be pretty much impossible, or at least not worth it at all. ;-)

Anything you hit while hitting prizes goes torque the banking,

offense or defense, many players uses defense in an offense prize or vise versa

if you lost a great amount of troops then you had paid into the bank eventually you will get paid

Thank you for clearing that up for me, now I am no longer worried. I have 1 more question here if you guys don't mind me asking. I heard through the grape vine that the adventures in the lighthouse where you get brethren units for rewards do not go towards banking if you lose troops in there. Is this true or false? If so then the official up date is wrong about saying that nothing is lost in prizes. As the adventures show up in the prize list when I go to choose which prize to attack. Arghh now that I am asking about adventures in the prize tab it leads me to a bad encounter I had. I went in the level 10 adventure thinking it was a prize and went into immortal mode. So I ended up losing 1 of each unit including my poor legendary unit and dreads. Thank you in advance for your replies and answers.

they are only worth half the value so yes it still counts but just not full value as a normal unit

I believe that the adventures don't count towards the bank, because they are not prizes (for example, they don't give you Prizes Tournament points either).

I have another question here. When losing offensive troops in a defensive prize or vice versa is the value still 100% or is it at something like 50%. I am still worried because I have not been paid back yet for my losses even though they have paid me back the numbers doesn't crunch up. Although I do believe that I didn't gt paid out in full the banking I have is still there. For example I started out with 2k subs and ended up losing like 6k total of subs not counting other units. Now I have like 200 subs left. So now I am behind 1,800 subs and the 6k subs lost has a 12% banking bonus right. So I should have a total of 2412 subs worth of resources in the bank, is this correct? If I was to list the other units also I am way behind. Since when I started the day doing the prize I had roughly 6 mil offense and 3 mil def. Now at the end of the day of doing prizes I am behind about 2 mil off and like 1.5 mil def. I did not gain anything but lost many things. So I am wondering if this 12% bonus is real or fake. If it is real my bank is most likely really high and they just haven't paid me yet. Well not as high as other players but for my size and level of prize it should be quite high. Level 49 highest prize.

In total just subs that I lost when looking in the infirmary it is a little over 16k. With that said should I be expecting a big payout soon or what because there are other units that I don't want to add to the list but the numbers are pretty high also.

Also would like to know is there a limit on how much the bank will pay you out on a day depending on the level prize you are on? Every time I get paid out like close to 2,000 MoW or GB I would just throw them into an offensive prize and lose them all for the banking bonus 12%. The same with Frigates and Brigs I throw em in def prize and win the prize but manage to lose almost all of em for banking bonus. Sometimes I had too much def I would do an offensive prize with all def units. IDK if this is a good strategy to bank for the 12% bonus but looks like it is not paying out. So I beg the question are they worth 100% resources when using ships to do opposite prizes. Please shed some light here for me because I am really low on ships and my banking I hope is high if not I lost a lot.

The only changes to prizes I've seen is the pay every win. Its not a big payout but does help sometimes. I have noticed it takes bit more than it used to, to defeat prizes. Its not by much but on the lower end(1-50) but makes a difference on the higher end(50+).

Negatively, can't really say but everyone's perception on the matter is different.

Would love if my bank would reset though :D

Very good Point Blasphemy, that a lot of players either don't know or forget.

slight correction to Blas' statement - the value is probably less than 1/2. Reasoning is because of veteran. After regular units they should have the next highest value. In turn that would mean brethren and pardond have a lower value. This assumption is based on the idea that you can pardon veteran units.

Here's an example using gunboats :

In the end after pardoning they both would have the same boost from pardons. But resource cost is different. Now the game may not know the difference afterwards it just sees pardond units. which would imply that pardond and brethren units would have either the same value if not less than a veteran unit. As you all can see its more than half the value to create a veteran unit compared to the regular gunboat

A vet has a res value worth 30% of a regular unit. Since a vet can be pardoned, draw your own conclusions. Would Pl actually distinguish between a pardoned vet unit and a pardoned regular unit?

As for brethrens. Their res value is zero to me and I treat them as such. This can all be tested in the kabam servers with much lower level hits for a much lower cost to draw conclusions.

I have always been told that all units revert to their 'normal' resource values when sent to the bank

This should mean that brethren, pardoned and veteran units have identical values to normal units
Anne Bonnie hinted at this on the old Kabam Forum, and I have never seen any other official response
Everything else is just urban myths and speculation

I always use this site for prizes as it gives a very good estimate of the force needed to complete each level and the eventual payouts when the bank is full

Adventures give their own rewards (including Dread Fleet units), so should never contribute to the bank

Sending units to the 'wrong' prizes used to be a good way to boost the bank because it only converts their resource values and ignores off/def values completely
