Max. can be anything. There is a perfectly legal trick, but I promised not to give it away when another player told me about it. If anyone else explains it, I won't mind, of course.

No, that's a bug, and it predates these "30 extra raids" events (although, I suspect it's related, because it first appeared only weeks before these extra raids were first introduced). I never managed to reproduce it at will, and therefore I could never convince Plarium that there is a bug, but it happened to my friends and me enough times to be convinced that it's there.
