Different software (firewall, antivirus,...) maybe?

If not, can you elaborate what do you mean by "blocks"? What exactly happens? Do you get some error message? Screenshots might help.

The story starts with my tower computer being blocked because of a wrong authentication code (Google Authenticator). I noticed afterwards my smartphone and my pc did not show the same time.

I could change this on my smartphone but I had to reinstall Plarium Play.

Hereunder a list of tasks done trying to solve the problem: ( I have a ticket with Plarium assistance but they keep repeating the same things)

Plarium Play app uninstalled

Deleted "Uninstall" file

windows update

Update all drivers

Update all apps

Registry cleaned

Reset Plarium Play cache

Disk analysis

Downloaded the latest version of Plarium Play

Disabled antivirus

Windows Defender disabled

Selected full control of Plarium Play installation folder

Run Plarium Play as Administrator    

Restart pc several times

Stops downloading each time...

@petrus4u, of the things in that document, I'm unsure if you updated .Net. I think you did the rest, so maybe try that too. Sadly, I am out of options here and all I can suggest is that you keep trying with Support. Be as detailed as possible.

It seems that more players - and not just in Pirates - have a similar problem, which means that Support might actually come up with a solution, even if they seem less than helpful at the moment.

@petrus4u, I just heard that another player had an issue related to the authenticator app. Not the same as yours, but similar anough. Make sure to tell the Support about the 2FA issues you've experienced before. I don't see how it can be relevant, but it seems that it can be.

Btw, dotnet updated to the latest version.

Today I tried to connect via my smartphone. I could download and install Plarium Play but had the same issue when I tried to play the game.

Still have the option of mobile wifi device which connects to another internet supplier. Will try it tomorrow, need to buy credit.

@petrus4u, it might be a wider problem. See this topic.

Last update:  I thought it could be kind of stupid but I just gave it a try. I made a copy of the whole Plarium directory from the laptop, where I can still connect and paste in the appropriate directory on my tower pc. It works but I don't have the full Plarium Play. I will try to install it.
