Send them with a huge complment of orcs to defend my orbs and stronghold. Make sure they are at the front of my welcoming party at my stronghold when other lords decide to pay me an unexpected visit.

Orc twinshields are for killing the rivals and dying with pride. Those warriors would find a place in our Obelisk.

Not sure what "send them to battle" is supposed to mean exactly, but keep in mind they are a defensive unit, also "sending the orc twinshield to battle" would not be wise without supporting orc defensive units since they are legendary.  I'd also not send all 1000 to the obelisk since they would require 25,000 "normal" orc defense units to give them the full defensive potential and I don't have THAT many orcs at our obelisk. But yeah if i had the 1000 twinshields i would promise to always have defensive orc units in my unit queues until i got the full 25,000... :3
