🏟️✨ What’s hiding behind the glitz and glamor of the Champions’ Forge? It’s time to find out!

The Champions’ Forge was built to honor Arena heroes of the past, present and future. No expense was spared in designing it. A high-tech gold alloy has been used to decorate the structures and monuments. The two largest statues, found on either end of this colosseum are both crafted from the finest marble in the galaxy. And when those doors opened for the first time it’s certain that every Pilot that walked their Mech to the starting position sat up a little straighter. With a space that embodies greatness, it’s impossible not to feel important.

Such a grand Arena would only suit being settled amongst the stars. The Champions’ Forge can be found on a small, private moon. Great expense was poured into making it a suitable environment to even host battles in the first place, but the owner considers it an investment in his legacy. Logistically, it was also a nightmare to construct. Specialist teams were formed, each responsible for a small section of the final creation. It has taken years, but it is now the largest purpose-built Arena that can be found outside of Earth.

The owner of the Champions’ Forge is, of course, Targe. When he says he built this Arena to honor the sport, he really means that he designed it to honor himself. In the Pilot areas of the Champions’ Forge, you’ll see flashes of Targe everywhere. Medals from his decorated stint as a war general, hang in front of the locker rooms. Framed posters of him shaking the hands of important people line the halls. There can be no doubt that Targe owns this Arena, and he’s going to make sure that everyone knows it.

While Pilots do not get to choose the Arenas they are assigned to, most have appeared eager to compete on this new battlefield. All but one. Major has not uttered a word about Targe’s emergence as a Pilot and cameras caught the pair in a heated debate after a press conference. When asked about the Champions’ Forge, Major found it hard to conceal his distaste and refused to answer any further questions. Rumors about the pair’s hostile history have been running amok. Perhaps this beautiful and ornate Arena is masking a bitter rivalry.
