🪐🌠 Elon Station Gray was a vital transport junction during the expansion. The first Martian colonies used this facility on the Moon as a staging post, but once the shuttles could reach Mars unassisted it became redundant. There are other stations, each color-coded based on the planet they are situated on. A sister facility, Elon Station Red, can be found on Mars itself and is still in use. But Elon Station Gray lay dormant, forgotten to time, until solar scanners discovered Helium 3 beneath the surface…

It seemed that finding Helium 3 would spell the end of peace at Elon Station Gray. As expected, interest in the neglected facility flared up again. But the United Colonies Rescue Organisation (UCRO), put a comprehensive plan in place. They would oversee the extraction of this rare resource, and sell it at a fair price. Any profits would go towards supporting the remote Martian colonies. In the interest of transparency, the UCRO allowed the facility to also be used as an Arena. The most remarkable thing? It worked.

The United Colonies Rescue Organization was formed to provide logistical support to increasingly remote colonies. They helped establish Elon Station Gray and ran many of their operations from there, including search and rescue, terraforming, life support and supply runs. In a world where corps constantly sabotage each other and corruption runs amok, UCRO stands out for its peaceful history. Because of its legacy, even the shadiest corps tend to leave it alone. It’s largely seen as a beacon of hope, proving that sometimes humanity can get it right.

Elon Station Gray took much longer to build than expected. The engineering team cited logistical challenges, but the real reason is much simpler - the view. Seeing the Earth from such a perfect angle was distracting. Workers sneakily took longer breaks just to soak it up. Even now Pilots, who are used to dedicating complete focus to a battle, take longer to leave this Arena than any other. For many, it’s a reminder that no matter how many mega-corps threaten war or draw lines in the sand, this little blue planet floating in a sea of stars unites us all.
