Hello everyone!
The Mech Arena development process has reached quite a fast pace recently. We've collected some of the most significant novelties, like the addition of two new Mechs to the Progress Path and details about the upcoming in-game Event in our Update Highlights v.2.24. And we're ready to present them now — let's closely look at the details.
As some of you have probably heard from the news and our most recent video about Mech & Weapon Grade Update, the changes that involve Progress Path and two Mech duos, Killshot with Panther and Slingshot with Puma, are underway.
Let's break down the news for those who missed it.
As noted above, check out this video for all the details of the upcoming castling and crucial adjustments to the fundamental aspect of the game — Balance.
It's been a while since the ending of the previous Touchdown Event, which means the next one is underway. So, from March 2 to March 8, we'll celebrate the Holi Event. This holiday, known for its bright colors and endless fun, will be reflected in Mech Arena in a slightly dark, underground, but still colorful style.
As always, the Event will feature new outstanding Skins and the first appearance of one of the most powerful RPG weapons in the game, Missile Rack 16!
So make sure to participate in the in-game events and feel the holiday vibes!
These changes have the equivalency of reorganizing your living room because the house is falling apart 🤦♂️ matchmaking is trash, bugs affecting gameplay are rarely fixed in a timely manner (routinely takes months), allowing sp dropping to bully young players into quitting or unfairly gain rewards, etc...
Putting lipstick on a pig doesn't change the fact that it's still a pig. Fix real issues, not vanity type stuff...
@wildgas
It's worse than lipstick on a pig. This update isn't improving the game for new players - It's activly fucking them over.
Now instead of getting easy/early access to 2 really strong mechs that carried a lot of us through early/mid game they get dumbed down weaker versions and have to open their wallet to get the better mechs.
They realized these 2 mechs were too good and said "oops we should be charging more money for those, well make them harder to get and bump up the price". They don't give a shit about new players - they just want more money.

I do like this update, because it makes it hard, but possible now to get every mech in the game without paying. They are adding every mech I to the progress path which means you will unlock killshot and panther later in the game.
@CrystalDrew - Where's the fix for the pilot implant fees?
Great that you're adding new stuff, but can't you spare a dev for an hour to fix the garbage problems that have been lingering for months? Come on. These problems are killing us.
Ok Holi is nice, and Missle Rack 16? That is going to be great for Missle Rack mains, It's just a little underwhelming. I kind of expected more content, but maybe they are hiding something behind the curtains.
Hello! The release of new content doesn't affect improving already existing game features as we have different teams dealing with it. We provide new content to make the game more interesting and exciting considering suggestions from our players that we can meet relying on our technical capabilities.

SP doesn't affect matchmaking though. It's a combination of your overall XP, how many mech/weapons you have unlocked (not just using in you hanger) and mech/weapon ranks.
