Would like to also add this is a BS argument because the game is literally designed to coerce you into paying. Tengu even doesn't need you to pay, beyond paying for tengu which is like $100 even though it's a rare mech. I mean it's better than having to pay and upgrade or get an unreasonable amount of blueprints which I still haven't seen plarium say they will commit to no longer doing that.
And you know sure the payment is completely optional still but they know they're doing these p2w events to manipulate players by abusing fear of missing out. They know they're doing it. And they haven't said they'll be decoupling xp from matchmaking and we all know it's the cause of p2p bias.
They just come up with excuses for the p2w design. But in reality they know it's pay to win and they don't care.
I keep telling them if I wanted pay to win I would play war robots. Well that's what I'm doing I'm playing war robots and I'm in a clan in war robots because war robots has clans and I can get benefits from playing in a clan and when they add more sources of premium currency they don't take away what the other sources already gave you.
Are you reading this, any representative of plariumg? What are you debating? Is it about this? I debated something already. Which mobile mech game do I want to play? I would rather play war robots. I'm not f2p by any means, I am a casual spender. I know that pay to win means pay more win more. I am winning more in war robots and I haven't spent a dime. I might even spend a bit there. I'm not even level 30 and I match against level 30 players and I still win more there. That's the highest level by the way.
That's how bad pay to win situation in mech arena is. If drastic changes to be more f2p and casual spender friendly do not win the debate then mech arena loses. It won't be the game people play, it won't be the game people talk about, and it won't be the game people spend money on because even pay to wins will go over to the other because it's cheaper and they like spending less too.
