How to make mech arena's shit not stink like spicy chipotle, with clans.

I call this game pay to win a lot. It's really because plarium keeps coming up with new reasons for me to think so. Like the game is already gacha heavy with the blueprints and all. Well plarium keeps adding a ton of useless items to fill the blueprints pool and make us less likely to get actual useful ones. Now with implants we have to depend on getting the implants we want and sticking with unupgraded weaker ones because we don't wanna waste our resources on them because you've made it so we lose out on return parts if we don't fork over a-coins. But p2p is getting a way to purchase whatever implants they want from the shop while f2p will be stuck with the same gacha BS 😠. Oh and f2p doesn't even get a shot at new items in crate rush and you're indefinitely not adding now items to the progres path, freaking great.

But it struck me today I do all this complaining meanwhile plarium is working on the next feature they won't announce until a week before they release it and won't accept feedback on until it's already in the game. So to get ahead of the curve I'm giving you my ideas for clans and hope you take my advice.

Why am I doing this? Well, in reality every game that has some sort of monetization system is pay to win. Some games are just more pay to win than others. It's sort of like shit. Every shit stinks, just some shits stink more than others. Players will still play games if their shit doesn't stink too much. Mech arena's shit stinks like a spicy chipotle shit tho. And if the community is beloved, I would hope that a thriving community is something plarium wants for the game. Basically, I'm writing this because I care if people like this game.

When game companies WAKE UP and smell their shit they do things to make the game stink less. A great way to make it so mech arena's shit doesn't stink like spicy chipotle is to make it so a player's time is more valuable. In short, we need to be able to earn more things by playing. But why am I saying all this on a clans post? Make it so players can earn resources from playing as a clan. And you cannot under any circumstance reduce the resources earnable from other sources.

We need playing as a clan to make the game worthwhile. Tasks can revolve around destroying enemy mechs and it's faster to complete with clanmates, winning battles with clanmates, applying buffs to clanmates, healing clanmates, applying status effects to enemies and maybe others. Completing clan daily tasks gives you: 10 a-coins, 3000 credits, 2 fortune keys, 10 pilot marks, an implant so players can get their 3rd implant for the pilot daily task, and 24 blank blueprints.

Wait a minute, what are implant points blank blueprints? Blank blueprints can be traded in the blueprints shop for an item of your choice with the following conversion rates: 1 blank blueprint for 1 common blueprint, 2 blank for 1 uncommon, 3 blank for 1 rare, 24 for 1 epic and 120 for 1 legendary.

Another way to make it so your shit stinks less is to make it so a few people paying means a win for everyone. In runescape, most content is locked behind membership. You used to be only able to get this by paying money. Now in runescape, you can buy bonds which you can trade for membership or sell for gold. When you sell them for gold they become a type of bond that can only be traded for membership. The gold comes from someone who probably grinded to earn that bond. I used to have no reason to play runescape because I didn't want to spend money on memberhsip. Now I don't have to because somebody else who wants to benefit in game buys it for me.

In clash of clans, $5 a month gets you 1 gem donations. You spend just 1 bit of premium currency to avoid training and donate to your clanmates instantly. Now 1 or a few clanmates paying means everyone wins.

I have no idea how you would do this in mech arena but maybe you can come up with something.

There is one more way and that is pay and play in which paying a little and playing the game after doing so will earn you plenty more rewards than playing without paying at all. Mech arena already has this, sort of, but there's barely any rewards for it and not one of them is a-coins and gold pass costs twice as much as the one in clash of clans. People get all this extra xp and nothing in the way of upgrade progress to show for it because the lack of a-coins. So rather than being a pay and play to progress system, the gold pass in mech arena is just a glorified bundle of credits, blueprints and skins. War robots operation pass, or their pay and play system gives you a mech for completing some of the passes. 1 of them is $5. This has nothing to do with clans but at least add like 100 a-coins to silver pass and 400 to gold pass.

By the way please never introduce multi-tiered battle pass.

Hope you take my advice, because I would like to see this game do well. Especially want the blank blueprints and because this game is getting too gacha heavy.

the pass has absolutely nothing to do with a coins...if the game is so greedy, better make it a premium game , dear plarium,.these guys are making everything harder to achieve since the launch and what the hell is going o with all the DEVELOPMENT AND UPDATES? plarium can earn lots of money later when the game and community will expand , but now, we need more access to resources...

Plarium  has  bought into  the  full-on  greed  game.    I  personally do  not  mind  spending a  buck  here  and  there  on  the  game...it  is  supposed  to  be  entertainment  afte  all.    But  Plarium  has  sold  itself  to  the  elitists  who  can  afford  to  spend  hundreds,  and  in  many  cases,  thousands  of  dollars.    To  apese  thes  big  spenders,  they  feed  the  rest  of  us  to  them  to  be  slaughtered in  uneven  matches.    As  a  FTP  or  casual  spender,  you  cannot  hope  to  compete.    Ever.    This  sort  of  social  inequality is  unseemly for  a  company in  2022.    I  would  even  be  amenable to  a  subscription model  of  some  sort  IF  the  matchmaking was  more  balanced.    But  what  really  chaps  me  is  that  the  Plarium  moutpieces  had  the  gall  to  call  us  'beloved.'    The  only  'beloved'  community  members  are  those  who  open  their  wallets  to  throw  cash  at  the  Plarium CEO.    The  rest  of  us  can  eat  cake.
