Most players that are on a FB group or active on Discord channels will probably realize Plarium introduced a bug which caused mech/weapon star values to be reduced down to 1 star ( seems like 1 star was where all the glitched items went )  They fixed ( are fixing ) it.

The problem is they oddly chose this exact moment to put up for sale ( real money offers )  a Zephyr for $2.99.  A player aware of this bug might be fooled into thinking this offer is also showing bugged stats and they buy it thinking that the stats will be fixed when the bug is patched.  

In this offer there is absolutley no announcement warning the player they are buying half the Zephyr they can get in the progress path.   Everything looks exactly right except the stars are 2 and the energy level is 8... all stats are lowered to what amounts to an unusable level for a mech you might think is OP normally.  

SO, while they aren't doing anything outright to decieve a player it does seem someone in their marketing dept created an offer which some might say preys on players eager to snap up an offer that looks too good to be true under a presumption the stats will be changed along with the bug fix.
