Halloween Specialisation Spree

I am all for specialised events during usual gameplay but running a specialised weapon even FOR THE HALLOWEEN SPECIAL is a garbage money grab. The idea is to spend big money on a weapon so I can get a skin... And most likely a skin for a mech I don't own or use. This is a direct callout to the Devs, you have completely shit the bed with this event.

As there is no shop to purchase any weapon or mech when desired, so the 'sale price' is a complete lie. This is highly illegal in Australia and can have massive fines. A note to the Devs - this will end in a class action lawsuit if you keep going this way. Stop pretending this is ok. It's not a business model you should actively defend. There is just so much wrong with everything going on at the moment that it's extremely clear the ones in charge have zero clue how to approach this situation.

Give me the job. Interview me for PR and customer relations or marketing.

I'm not even mad anymore, just disappointed...

Plarium  is  all  about  pushing  the  limits  on  spending.    They  are  so  aggressive  with  the  tactics.    You  get  bombarded  by  pop  ups...    driven  to  spend  to  complete  events...  tournment  is  so  broken  as  you  either  get  put  up  againt  whales  that  are  miles  ahead  of  normal  progression  /  pocket  change  people  or  as  you  level  up  higher  you  get  new  players  in  your  brackets  that  find  it  much  easier  to  get  250+  scores  in  tournament.    I  still  play  but  the  $200  or  so  I  put  into  the  game  was  it  and  they  will  never  get   another  dime  from  me.   Some  might  consoder  $200  a  lot  of  money....  its  a  fair  amount  but  its  nothing  to  the  thousands  some  of  these  whales  put  in  to  have  maxed  out  hangars  at  only  50k  experience.    Their  reward  is  super  easy  matchmaking  for  the  next  100k  of  XP  progrsession.

But  don't  worry...  Plarium  is  monotoring  matchmaking.

I've been playing games a long time and I've learned the 'cost' of a game is not the 'value' of a game. There are AAA games released at full RRP (country prices vary - Australia is between $70-$100) that are not worth that much. But on the other hand there are indie games worth less but could absolutely charge more. If you put a lot of time into a game, putting in a balanced amount of money isn't a bad thing.

Another example of unbalanced value; I'm at 50k exp at the moment and I can't justify buying Brickhouse for $125. In comparison, I need to play for another 2-3 months before I can unlock it. Of which, I will still have to pay to use it no doubt. Regardless of how I play, I'll need to drop coin which is hardly an all-inclusive experience.

Dare I say... It is actually just elitism against the low socio-economic demographic... Some people can choose to spend cash but others just flat out don't have the money at all which puts them at an infinite disadvantage. The aggressive sale tactics might even be targeting underage minors in questionable ways too.

All of which have comfortable solutions if the ones in charge just took a step back and realised there are better ways of approaching these thins while still bringing in the same profits. It just needs a different outlook.

And now the Carbine 8... This Halloween event is probably the worst I've seen implemented into any game for as long as I can remember.

Multiple tokens are available via payment only - the random skin chance is garbage - no new Halloween theme in the maps...

All a bit average honestly.
