This Game is Backwards - I'm Done
This is a major end game problem I've been complaining about since before release and Plarium will not use some common sense and make a change. They are too busy creating new mech skins I guess.
At my level (4500+ pwr) I should be enjoying my hard earned equipment. Maxing my stuff was a major grind and a **** load of $$$. Why am I unhappy? It was so fun before but now I am so frustrated EVERYDAY playing this game. It's because Plarium developed a game that becomes less rewarding as you progress. How is that possible when I'm running around with duel rainguns, duel stasis beam 16, duel arc 10's, duel carbine 12's on a Killshot, etc? It's because Plarium, in their total lack of common sense, ramped up the AI so high that the game becomes ridiculous. Every maxed player I talk to agrees it's stupid. I just can't understand how the hell a company can blindly create such asinine game mechanics.
What I'm talking about is that high level AI put against players above 4000 pwr is pushed to a point where the bots abilities are used using millsecond precision. Also, every bot has perfect aiming. What does that do? Here are some ridicuous examples:
1) So your playing the High Bridge map and there's a enemy mech running under you. You have been sitting out of sight and your off the radar. So the enemy mech below you is about to clear the edge and you are going to Killshot dash him for an easy kill. Nope wrong. You dash, the mech is a Zephyr, it turns and stuns you midair. WTF!!!
2) On long range maps like Hanging Gardens or the other wide open map, you pop up to shoot a mech and instantly 3 pairs of stasis beams aimbot to your face. You can see the mechs shooting you. They are all the way across the map just a few pixels in height. The only way you knew they were there is by tracking the aimbotted beams back to their origin.
3) A Zephyr, equiped with longarms, stuns you at close range and he is pounding you his sniper rifles at very close range. Both longarm bullet trails are perfectly aligned where they intersect at your mech. Try shooting a longarms at any mech at close range. The bullet trails are always off target. Why TF do bots get this capability?
4) A high level bot running longarms can strafe sideways at a full run and put all 5 sniper rifle shots into you. Do you know how hard that is for a person to do on a phone LMAO?!
5) ALL mechs are under a shield for several seconds when they spawn. I've placed Cheetah mines on a spawnpoint and they go off when an enemy mech spawns in and they do no damage. Abilities like Zephyr or Guardian stun do not work while they are under the shield. I know I lose my shield as soon as I shoot so I don't shoot untill they waste their ammo on my spawn shield. WHY is it a bot can stun, emp, redox poison, or mine me within milleseconds of me spawning in? I've been insta stunned many times while spawning in.
6) My killshot is my go to mech and Surges and Zephyrs are my nemesis. High level Surges and Zephyrs cannot be dashed. If a Surge and my Killshot dash each other where we will be in a head on collision, the Surge always stuns me and takes no dash damage from the killshot. It's because they have a larger radius on their ability. Forget dashing a Zephyr it will auto stun you with super human timing.
7) Now that they have introduced a new beefed up Cheetah, another problem is created. Try killshot dashing a high level AI cheetah. I can kill a cheetah easily with my killshot but there's no dam way I'm getting away without taking a **** load of damage or dying. It's because the cheetah ability timing is just like the other bots.... PERFECT. It will lay mines instantly, even if you were out of line of site hiding before the dash. It's the same thing with killshot vs killshot. Ya I can dash a killshot and kill it but it ALWAYS auto dashes me back and I'm down 50% health.
I may come back and check to see if anything changes after 6 months. Right now I'm just not enjoying it that much because of the issues listed above. Now Plarium, I'm a pretty relaxed guy. I don't complain about stupid things. This game got me to the point where I have posted about this issue 4 or 5 times already and am QUITING. I know you don't care about the hundreds of $$$ a year I may spend. That's chump change. Just realize, I'm not the first or last person to quit because of frustrating issues like this. Hundred's of players like me sure does add up on your $$$ bottom line.
