Yeah I dont think this is a good idea at all. 

The point of the game is for it to be challenging. I don't want a bunch of free stuff. That would just make it easier for everyone and less interesting for professional players. 

Plus, they already gave us events for christmas. I am really happy with the credits I was able to win by working for them. 

Why stop at 5000 not make it 10,000. Because freebies just add advantages to those online now and disadvantage future players which we will need to make this game last long term and would make the game less of a grind and more of a cakewalk. I like my weak little mechs ive earned the gear they have and wouldn't want to change it just because i was online for 1 event.
