I can only tell you how they are in expert 1 but not how to beat 18k hangars with 5k hangars :) 

They were in grandmaster league when tournament started but they dont play many games per month, so each month they drop rank, thats how system works, next month they will be in Professional 1 and the next month in Novice 1.. 

You could try to suggest improvements on Discord, here in Forum they dont care what we say, we just chatting about game. Apply to become a game developer maybe? Everyone seems to want to become a "Monitor" but what they really need is maybe a "Developer" :) The game is probably written in some ancient binary language that nobody understand, so they cant fix anything :)
