Hard to say without seeing your hangar, but in general the biggest reason I've seen among new/mid players is an overly upgraded set of mechs. If you focus on improving your weapons collection first, that seems to serve better. 

Spend your frustrated time here learning and having fun with a different game. I swap between this and another fast paced mech game. After taking my frustrated time from this game and spending that time learning and building up in a different mech game, has been a very refreshing eye opener. If you don't feel like trying that then I'd suggest starting over with a new account and do what Tar said.
