Not with acoins. See the reward percentages in the crate rush. The chance of getting citadel is too low and the chance of you losing those acoins too high.

There's an event that gives some tokens. You can use those, but avoid using acoins.

As tar said, absolutely yes with tokens, because there's no in-game resources at risk there. 

Infinite crates aren't all bad, it depends on % chance on the main prize, so maths in other words. All these complaints here about being robbed by rigged 5% crates, but I have experienced both luck and lack of it so believe there is no rigging going on - as an example when the Outlaw CRE was about a few days / weeks ago I got mine on spin 7, my two kids at spin 19 and 20 respectively (we all used acoins here). 

Fast forward to the last 7 days, using only free tokens, me Overdriver 16 on first spin, kids none, my son got the Cooldown impant from the derby event tokens, me and my daughter none, and Citadel CRE which is the infinite crate one, from the first three free tokens (yesterday) me and my daughter got nothing, but my son got Citadel on his third spin at 0.19% !!! So there are three more free tokens to be obtained today, likely more tomorrow but I guess the point I am making is, it's all maths, it is unlikely at 0-1% but it definitely is possible!

Infinite is very bad. Never should of been added to the pool of prizes. The limit the process of elimination of trying to win "X" prize. All they are for is to purposefully drain your resources where the need to spend $$ is to replenish those lost resources. Like a gambler going into debt to try and recoupe the money they lost. At least before infinite crap a person was at some point garranteed to get the prize they were going. 

That I can agree with, Band, but we can all grumble, or chose to be a "glass half full" kind of person - the latter is my view, it's all down to maths, you can have half the items of the infinite type, if the main prize % is the same as the rest of the items, you are equally likely to win it. Infinite is really bad and a drain as you say, if the % is less than 1%, then it just isn't worth the risk.

I got everything else exactl except for the Citadel. So at this point I just want a refund of at least 500 A-coins but preferably 800 but at least 500.

Honestly guys, I know this is frustrating, but you just got unlucky, this is maths, nothing else. Read about it if you don't believe me, hell, ask AI, you will see for yourself. 

My daugther finally got Citadel on 6th spin yesterday, and for her all other spins were Citadel blueprints. Just lucky, nothing else.

I'd love to see what the percentage chance of getting Citadel is for you right now since you've cleared nearly all other non-infinite items.  Can you post a screen shot or that?
