This is garbage. You need to redo the game on a new engine (OpenGL, C++). Start over

What the hell are freaking bots doing in hangar showdown? You want me to play it or dont want anyone to play it??? Because with bots im not going to play this crap. Is game really that much unpopular that you have to add bots to hangar showdown???? it must be!!!

War robots has all those things but worse arguably except for optimization. Mech arena has much simpler graphics but somehow runs worse. It's not noticeable most of the time but on some maps there will occasionally be really bad lag.

i used to think that mech arena was great for not being slow even on older devices, but i think i was wrong, because even on ethernet PC i have huge issues with lag, and all the time i see enemy shooting not at me but somewhere around me, but i get hits, same with watching fights after I died, so I think realistically what i see is either happened in the past or never happened at all.. i think developers somehow managed to disguise the lag and then they just synchronize what 2 players saw and engine decides which reality to accept.. this way the enemy gets damage when you hit him, but he doesnt experience the hits, he is just stated the fact that he was hit. 

My kid installed the game on really old tablet and i was impressed how smooth it was running, thats why i chose to play it comparing to competition, but looks like it was just disguise. And it's actually really slow on those devices outside of the battle, its barely playable when you select mechs or anything.

Uh

OpenGL is a rendering pipeline/engine, not an engine. And OpenGL is pretty old and outdated, and limited. Not to mention the upcoming MacOS depreciation...

And C++ is a programing language, not a game engine.

The game engine MA uses is Unity, which is pretty mature and (was) industry leading, and the game is presumably written in Unity's native C#, which is also a mature language.

Also also, why would plarium decide to rebuild their entire game in something like... Well the main options would be Unreal Engine (not available on mobile, and much heavier), or Godot (godot is my favourite ❤️ :3, but it's still pretty young, tho completely free), from scratch?

There's not much wrong with the game, and even less that couldn't be fixed in the current engine.

Network lag is not at all Mech Arena's fault, there's not really much that can be done.

The game is pretty well designed tbh, the graphics even on low look good enough and still run well, and it is possible to play the game via a hotspot to a crappy network.. I know from experience.. 

3 reasons to not play mech arena

1. Pay to win and yes it is so you can buy mechs and weapons 

2.every one is quiting mech arena and are replaced by bots 

3. Mod should have stayed the way it was with maxed out mechs before you can apply it to mech just another way to boost sales

4.battle pass is staying the same every season it's no been 3 times the same stuff being offered 

And so BTW War Robots aint much better it even worse than mech arena with the Titan add on made the game less fun you have to spend a lot of moola to be able to play

my opinions on this is:

1) you have not seen pay to win like i seen it in otther games, trust me, mech arena is just a baby of pay to win in comparison. Everything they can buy you can compete against. There are games where you absolutely cant win big payers and they spend thousands.

2) might be true, amount of bots is crazy.. if there is similar game that offers less bots and less stupid weapons like gemini i would for sure consider it

3) agree with this one, no idea what they wanted to achieve with mods for all bots.. messed up everything to me. but i disabled view of mods and now i just dont care what mods enemy has, everyone got them... just a bit of extra health for everyone. including myself.. what was the point indeed just something more you can spend money on.. from playing perspective the change is for worst to me.

4) dont really care about battle pass.. im not buying it. and free things dont disappoint me
