Hangar showdown sucks, and I hate this game mode and everything about it. most is it's essentia. And what I hate  I'm going to need to be promised some changes or I could get very angry very quickly. I don't know why nobody talks about it but I'm sick of the silence. This is a big issue with the game we can't let slide. I already brought these up once but everybody seems to have moved past it. I'm not going to let people continue to forget.

Let's start with the matchmaking shall we? The matchmaking in hangar showdown is based SOLELY on the number of mech stars you have in your hangar. The failure to take grade into account means if you enter this game mode with mostly rare and below mechs you're screwed in league 3 and beyond cause the power gap between rare and legendary is too great and plarium sells 3 star legendaries so you can get into league 3 when you reach the rare mechs only to be squashed by people who bought low rank legendaries also in league 3. You may stand a chance with mostly epic The same is true for league 2. This really isn't fair it's a p2w design.

Then in addition to being pay to win you can manipulate it easily by using very high star mechs mixed in with low star mechs then you can equip much higher energy than people playing normal in lower leagues while using higher grades in addition to that. But if it wasn't for that your performance is highly dependent on your sole team mate.

This is all made worse by the worst part about it. That being YOU ARE FORCED TO PLAY THIS GAMEMODE BECAUSE ESSENTIAL RESOURCES KNOWN AS MOD PARTS ARE LOCKED BEHIND IT! What's more, YOU WILL SPEND AN INDEFINITE AMOUNT OF A-COINS PER MOD PARTS! To get mod parts you have to earn a certain number of points. 1500 for basic mod parts, 2500 to get all the epic mod parts. But you get a limited number of entries, 5 to be exact, before you have to start frittering away a-coins. You can get approximately 80-100 points per match. In a losing match you can get none. So in league 2 you can get the 400 basic mod parts without spending any a-coins IF YOU'RE LUCKY and win all 5 matches and get 100 points in each. Of course it almost never goes over this way. So you then have to waste an indefinite amount of a-coins to get the mod parts. WHY IS THIS A FUCKING THING?! I mean we already had tournaments as a pay to play game mode where you could end up wasting your a-coins. BUT AT LEAST YOU NEVER HAD TO PLAY TOURNAMENTS TO GET ESSENTIAL RESOURCES FOR PROGRESS AND YOU COULD POTENTIALLY RECOUP YOUR A-COINS!

Why? Why to any of this? Fix this game mode. Fix the matchmaking. Remove the tickets system and buying tickets with a-coins and let us play us much as we want. AND STOP FORCING US TO PLAY THIS STUPID GAME MODE TO GET MOD PARTS! YOU COULD HAVE EXPANDED EVENTS AND INCLUDED MOD PARTS IN THOSE BUT NO INSTEAD YOU CHOSE TO FORCE US TO PLAY A SHITTY GAME MODE WITH TERRIBLE MATCHMAKING WHY?! De-couple hangar showdown from the resources and distribute those out through events so we're not frittering away a-coins on it cause that's an essential resource too.
