I have Parasite. I can catch surge, but still 75% Surge to win. I don't think the Surge nerf will affect this much. I'll have 1 extra second to shoot due to the shorter stun, but generally Surge is running at that point.

It will affect Zephyr vs Surge, if Zephyr can activate its ability in time. Surge won't get a free second to fire.

Catching Surge with either one is tough.

I think you are devaluing their incompetence. They could still be farming me for money, but instead they made the game unplayable because I almost maxed out one legendary mech. That's an income stream they just shut off. They wouldn't do that on purpose. They just didn't design the game well. They most probably started off well and then went for money without the competence to make sure it scaled well. So they created senerios where building the wrong way made the game unplayable. I've seen some trying to blame that on the player and not the developers. And they have painted themselves into a corner were they can't solve the problem. This is a game that breaks unless the players try and nurse it to make it playable. Plarium should, rightly be prosecuted, as selling something that breaks if you use it the way it was made to be played. Who would buy a toaster that explodes if you use the wrong type of bread? But word will get out. They are just farming it for money. They know it is broken and they can't fix it.

They are just running down the clock until the jig is up. They know it's a faulty product and they will pretend it isn't and try to make as much money as possible before word of mouth catches on or the authorities step in.
