Hangar showdown is some complete BULLS**T. It by far is the worst battle mode of the game. Not only does it take forever to pair you with players, but when I finally get into a game I am always over matched. I never play with or against any mechs and weapons that are somewhat comparable to mine. It just makes the game frustrating and a complete waste of time to play. I HATE IT.

I totally get your frustration. Hangar Showdown feels incredibly unbalanced, with long matchmaking and constant mismatches. It turns what should be fun into a stressful grind, really disappointing.

The matchmaking is terrible and now bots are being incorporated. If I'm running a fully maxed out hanger, the game should not be pairing me with someone running a Slingshot with Javelin 8's. Or like I saw yesterday, someone who had to mechs in their hanger with no weapons. How does that make any damn sense?

Yesterday was great. I had lots of bot opponents running strange setups and won most rounds.
I would say as often as a strong player is paired with a weak player, they also get an opponent who is weak. If I don't like the players, I might take a 10 minute break so I don't end up with the same group.
I don't see a way they can satisfy everyone. I've had my complaints, but I've also improved. I'm still usually the weaker teammate, but win enough for it to be worthwhile.

You've been saying that for months. The regular matchmaking has been broken for four years now and still not fixed 🤦 If history is any indication, hangar showdown will always be broken no matter what the devs tell you to say. Their inaction and refusal to address matchmaking in general speaks volumes...

I wouldn't have a problem if it was a strong player and a weak player on each side, but too many times I've been paired with someone who has no business playing at that level versus two other maxed opponents. Having bots fill in for HS makes no sense. I'd rather they kill the mode than play with bots.
