Hanger showdown discussion

Hi, 

I have played hanger showdown almost every day, just want to give some thoughts on it 

the match making is getting better and better, however I found something interesting to share:

I played 2 accounts, one is at 13k sp, another is around 8-9k, both played in league 1, you know what, the lower sp account get win rate about 80%, the higher sp account only at 30%

both use same mega robots and weapon, higher accounts use 24 weapon, and lower account use 20 weapon for all, mods also at same level/kind

why the higher sp account keeps losing, worse than lower sp account in league 1?

I checked results and teammate and opponents settings,  my assumption is, the lower sp account will get a higher sp teammate, so the total sp will match opponents, same as the higher sp account, which normally get a lower sp teammate 

since my experience, and team setting almost same, the only difference is the teammate experience, I think because I (higher experience)/ lower sp + high experience/high sp teammate know teamwork much better than a higher sp experienced + a lower sp with fewer experience.

For example, my lower account most times doing support job, lure, stun, slow..., then my teammate got most kills, my higher accounts need to watch out the lower sp teammate, and most time got myself in a trouble 

so I think besides team setting, teamwork is also very important. 

current game only allows 5 + 5 games each day, I feel that limited user interest. 

i play the hanger mostly for the elite mod part. is it possible to allow players keep playing after 10 games, paid 100 acoins alread, this way will lure more players to play and growing?

another reason to allow players continue to play after paid 100 acoins is, sometimes the teammate dropped during a game crashed, or rage quit, or Internet down,etc

That's actually an interesting observation.

In general, hangar showdown's biggest problem is that matchmaking is based entirely on squad stars and nothing else. There's no consideration given to squad power. Worse, it has all the other problems of matchmaking that other modes have (e.g. legendaries facing non-legendaries) so its matchmaking is actually worse than other modes.

And as icing on the cake, this mode has its own form of SP dropping because of the stars based matchmaking. For example in league 2, I've faced players with three mechs at purple stars and two other mechs at 2 and 3 stars. Purple stars count as six stars by the way :-).

I should add that the mode itself is fine and can actually be enjoyable. But these basic things need to be fixed. It's been in "beta" for too long now while Plarium seems to be focusing on other things that could easily have come after improving matchmaking in all modes.

Thanks for your feedback, sounds very interesting! We will take all the mentioned points into account. The Mode is still in the process of fine-tuning, so expect more updates and adjustments in the future!
