This is all the "customer service" people are allowed to say apparently.

So I sent in some questions to support, and this is how they answered. These are almost the exact responses I have read when I started playing about 10 to 11 months ago now. I know the "customer service" people can only do so much when the developers hide behind them, so it isn't their fault. But once again, it's saying stuff without really saying anything about the problems. At least this time they admitted these are problems.

Hi!
Thanks for your reply.

We understand your concerns and want to address each point in a clear and concise manner.

Mods on 3–5 Star Mechs
We are aware that early access to mods on lower-star mechs can create an
imbalance, and our developers have taken note of the community's
feedback. While there’s no immediate fix, the team is actively reviewing
mod availability and progression to make it more balanced for all
players.

Beginning and Mid-Tier Players vs. End-Game Mechs
We understand how frustrating it is to face legendary Mechs as a
lower-tier player. This is a known issue with matchmaking, and the team
is working on adjustments to ensure players are more fairly matched
based on hangar power, progression, and mech tier.

Hangar Showdown Imbalance
You’re correct, using Mech Rank alone doesn’t fully account for Mech
capabilities. Developers are monitoring Hangar Showdown balance and
testing ways to reduce the impact of highly specialized or end-game
Mechs in small team battles. This includes improving matchmaking logic
and evaluating mech-specific advantages.

Power Levels of Mechs and Weapons
We acknowledge that some fully maxed epic Mechs can feel stronger than
certain legendary Mechs, and this can be confusing. Our team is
reviewing power scaling across mechs and weapons to make the system more
logical and balanced for all players.

(this last part I guess they can't read as i asked about inventory power, not hanger power)
Matchmaking Against Higher Hangar Power
We understand that facing opponents with significantly higher hangar power
can feel unfair. Matchmaking currently factors in several elements, but
extreme gaps can still occur. Developers are actively working on
improvements to reduce such mismatches and make games feel more
competitiv

thats because there is no actual customer service, you're getting BOT responses.  Plus, it looks like most of your gripes are about the matchmaking imbalance, which they have no intention of changing.  the Whales gotta eat.

Hello! We don't use bots in both Community Management and Customer Support.

Exactly. It's frustrating when the responses are just recycled non-answers from nearly a year ago. Admitting the problems is a small step, but we need real action and solutions.

Inventory power is a meaningless factor in matchmaking. Matching up against an opponent who has much more stuff than you isn't going to make a difference unless they can use all of their stuff against you, which they can't

But I bet you do have example responses for your team and that's why so many of them are generic

When you have more to choose from with a higher inventory power, you are able to set up a hanger that is better then someone with a lower inventory power. With how messed up their power numbers are, inventory power is a huge factor. Just looking at my inventoy power of a little under 12k right now. I have seen hangers that are entirely made of legendary mechs at and lower then mine. I have no legendary mechs right now, though I will have some shortly. And while they might have the same power levels as me, they are overpowered compared to me. So, because of the power numbers being that off, we need to go by inventory levels as well. How is it fair to let people that have endgame inventories to still play against mid levels players? Even when I had 7k and lower inventory power, I had to go against players with 50k and higher. How is that fair to me? If anything, inventory power needs to be used to set up your bracket pool of players. The only people that are against it are the ones that bought everything and don't really have the skill to play against other with similar numbers.

If it was based on inventory power people could very easily exploit that system on new accounts just buy one really strong mech and be put up against people who unloc several weaker ones. Your ability to set up a strong hangar is not based on your total inventory power versus what you have in your inventory. Matchmaking needs stronger safeguards that plarium will never implement because if defeats the purpose of paid players stomping f2ps to pressure them to convert

And people don't do that already??? I never said it should only be based on inventory power, but it should be included.

I think an advanced analysis of the player's hangar to determine where they should match. Maybe an inventory power factor is something to try if they haven't already
