I don't think this is their much touted upcoming matchmaking algorithm update. Apparently the pre-existing matchmaking rules will still apply but on your strongest selected squad. So let's say you have a 10k SP squad and a 5k SP squad, and you've selected the checkmark for both of them. When you play a game, even if you select the 5K SP squad at the start of the game, the matchmaking will be based on the 10K SP squad. That's been my experience so far.

 If you want to play your 5K SP squad, you will have to deselect the 10K SP one beforehand.

They said "something new and exciting" was coming in regards to matchmaking. They didn't say they were fixing it. As far as I can tell this is the update. I guess being able to select a squad preset on the fly would be exciting, if MA weren't rigged.

I'd say looking forward to disappointment, but I guess you can't be disappointed if you expect nothing. How much longer? Another 3 years? 5? 10?

So what about the promised matchmaking changes to the other game modes? Are those still coming?

Sure! The Hangar Showdown is a priority right now, though.

I've been here for years and am still waiting.  We've been promised changes for sooooooo long....

Really doesn't bode well that nobody else has informed us matchmaking changes are coming and support even has told players there are no intentions to make changes to the matchmaking logic. And this has been said before. And it still hasn't been addressed.

Update? Which one, and what would have changed? Let's stay tuned. This is the same old system. It makes no sense to keep reading promises that don't come true and keep losing games against bots. In these 2 months, I've never had so many defeats. If this is the update, GOODBYE, TRASH... the same old story. Since they started selling off, in fact, it's gotten worse...

If HANGAR SHOWDOWN IS THE PRIORITY, that no one asked for, and you have to perfect it, when after 3 years you still haven't managed to fix the core game system, that means HANGAR SHOWDOWN WILL REMAIN IN BETA FOR ANOTHER 3 YEARS.

As you can see, there's no point in waiting. As long as you give priority to your ideas, which up to now have not found a response from the community and their requests, the game will forever remain a mix of experiments and bots. This game lost its meaning a long time ago. THE AVERAGE LIFESPAN OF A NEW PLAYER IS 5-6 MONTHS, THEN THEY LEAVE...
