Disrespect for Linux users on the part of plarium!

Why are plarium products (p - with a small letter, because I don't have to respect those who don't respect their Linux users) on Linux?
Developers, dear ones, is it really right to click on the "Build" button in Unity and port the game to Linux?
Why not?)

Well, will you parry my arguments, Plarium?))

Hello! The reason is basically that the majority of our audience doesn't use Linux.

I understand, but I've noticed that porting a game to Linux is easy. And the argument in the style of "the audience is not enough" is said only by those who put a huge bolt on their users.

Unfortunately, we can't please every single player, and if the choice comes to the priorities, we will choose the majority.

What does "separate" mean? The community of Linux users is not 1000-3000 people, really most people use closed software, (macos, windows), but I emphasized that it will not be difficult to import a game for Linux, a company that generates millions. EVEN indie developers import games for ALL OS, and a large company can't? (LOOOL)

Hello! Please reread my last message. Unfortunately, the Linux version of Mech Arena is not expected anytime soon, and it's not planned at this moment.

Still, the game is available for iOS, Android, and Windows. Although we don't recommend using any 3rd party applications in this regard, I'm pretty sure that there are some emulators for Linux to play Windows and mobile games, so you can give it a try 😉

I re-read it, Linux is also included in the masses. But why?, I'm willing to bet that your servers have Linux. Even a child can compile a Linux version!.
What you should do in your site is a section for Linux, and just throw in 1 .exe of the game.
Yes, I was wrong, it is not on macos, but come on.
In any case, compiling a game for Linux is easier than that all the community used "bones".
And in general, Linux is used by people who have money (IT specialists, programs) at least some money, and can even donate to the game, and perhaps more than players on the same phones.
And again, the only thing that Plarium does not allow the game to run on Linux, positioning themselves as "cross-platform", and this simply shows a disregard and lazy attitude towards players.
If Plarium is released under Linux - I will delete the post.

Hi! I understand your point, but as I've already mentioned several times, Linux is not popular in our community, so it makes no sense for us to develop the Linux version of the game, even if it's not that hard.

And once again, using emulators can be an option for you if you are eager to play Mech Arena on Linux.

Well, who bi doubted))) This is the standard arguments of every "developer", your game is positioned as cross-platform. And even if the community is small, it's like income, maybe it's less, but it's also money)
And the bones like the emulators work terribly.

+ Stop telling me the same thing, just admit that you are lazy:))))) (this is not an insult, this is just a fact!)

I'm trying to explain that there is no official Linux version, not due to laziness or something else, but due to the workload and the number of high-priority tasks we have.

Android is a custom Linux kernel 🤦the core development has already been done. You've added plenty of useless junk not popular with the community so your reason not to add a Linux version, which is actually more popular than most of what you update or add to the game, makes zero sense...

And I want to prove that you just can't make a .ex game file for Linux in unity. Are you getting sick?
Do you have "milking money" from the game? The game is drowning in donations, and there is NO content except for weapons and mechs (well, and cards once a month), it's just monotony. Well, okay, but my claim still remains. Do you have a lot of employees and you can't compile for Linux? As I mentioned, even indie developers can do this, but what about developers, CHILDREN can do it alone, but you can't do it with a whole company.

By the way, Unity supports compiling to WebGL, but why can't you make servers and run your game there? The browser community is BIGGER than Windows, macOS, Linux.
 Well, admit it, laziness?

+ I will not stop demanding that the game be released on Linux, not only Mech arena, but also your other games. In any case, it is very simple
I'm waiting for feedback, although, here are all the facts, and super, I have no idea how)....
