Poll/Survey question for Mech Players about Match Making
Ok, this is a relatively simple question.
If Mech Arena could guarentee that they could turn match making into a situation where you would be matched against oppontents (players and/or bots) who a) are within 1000 squad power of your current squad, b) not have mechs or weapons of a higher tier than you have equipped on your current squad, AND ALSO c) fix weapon power levels so players can't manipulate match making by having low starred mechs and pilots but maxed out weapons.
Would you be willing to:
A) Give up 6 months of new mechs and weapons to get the above done.
B) Give up only 3 months of new mechs and weapons to get the above done (the thought being that it would actually take 6 months, but you aren't willing to wait the entire time and will live with whatever they can do in 3 months).
C) None of the above (You need new mechs and weapons!)
D) None of the above (there isn't a problem)
At the end of the day, this is the big question. In any software development, you only have 3 levers you can really play with: time to completion, money (including staffing), or requirements. If you want to get something done you have you have to give up on some existing requirements, increase time to completion and/or increase funding. The question asks if you would be willing to give up on new stuff if they could actually take staff away and fix the problem.
