Interesting.  So far... 

   six people willing to - A) Give up 6 months of new mechs and weapons to get the above done. 

   zero for B

   one person for - C) None of the above (You need new mechs and weapons!) 

   and zero for D

I find it incredibly thought provoking that at least some people are willing to give up on new mechs and weapons to get match making fixed and more importantly, that the lone vote for something other than option A was a vote for C instead of D.  I purposfully put both options up there.  A vote for C would indicate that there is a problem with match making, but not one the voter is willing to give up anything to fix.

I'd love to see more people vote for this question (regardless of what the vote is).  

Maybe someone will take note.

Note an important point: the development of the new Content and polishing of the Matchmaking system are responsibilities of separate teams. The process doesn't interrupt each other.

That is indeed important information.  

However, the point of this "poll" is to emphasize just how important fixing the problems with matchmaking are to the players.  You know it is EXTREMELY IMPORTANT if the players are willing to sacrifice 6 MONTHS of new toys to get it fixed.

Basically we are saying that if there are two separate teams working on these items, pull some staff from the team working on new content and move them over to helping fix some things on the match making end.  

For example: Knowing that the new content team is setting values for weapons, maybe they can work on article C above (fix weapon power levels so players can't manipulate match making by having low starred mechs and pilots but maxed out weapons).

I seriously doubt plarium sees matchmaking as a serious "problem", let alone actually wanting to "fix" it.

This has been an "issue" since game launch...do you seriously think it couldn't have been "fixed" by now?? The last time matchmaking was "fair" was in beta testing!!

From plarium point of view, there's really nothing to fix. Their biggest spenders pay a LOT of money to be able to kill you easily. 

Do you honestly think plarium is going to alienate their biggest customers by solely pitting them against each other???? No. They aren't gonna do that.
