A proposition
With the recent introduction of "Mods". It has indeed shooken the community a lot, but the downfall of this wonderful game has been happening long before Mods were even a concept. The game is dying and people are leaving, some say things won't change, and we should just give and move on.
But I don't find satisfaction in that, I believe that for those who truly love this game, we'd strive to keep the fondness and fun this game at its core provided us for quite a while. So I'm going ahead and taking a step in trying to rally the community, to keep the essence of Mech Arena alive!
Sure the Devs might not take this seriously, most won't, but I want to see this game stay alive just for a bit longer, I and many other's want to enjoy this game just a bit longer.
This game might be beyond saving, I agree, this game is only a shell of its former self, but we are here, to fill in the gaps that so need to be filled. To bring the pieces of this shattered community back together.
I've been noticing that players are annoyed with the matchmaking, the bots, and the p2w players, so what if we make a space devoid of that? Or at least where you can get away from it. Why do you que up online, when you have an entire community to play with? All it takes is to ask, and someone is bound to answer.
So I'll be making a forum for that, a place you can go to and rally some players and play private matches, so you can choose bots or not, wheter you allow p2w or f2p players or not- the conditions fully up to the host (you). All you need to do, is send your game ID, see if anyone is available, and hop on.
A community led game is game is what Mech Arena was, and I hope that this forum will inspire people to revive that idea, just for a bit longer :)
