WhatsUp with the bots bro

I see and hear lots of kids, teens, and adults complain about the bots in the game. It's either that they are cheating, lagging, hacking, or are just too darn good, or the exact definition of jack squat. It doesn't matter if they are on our side, or our opponents.

Therefore, I have a reasonable and well thought out problem solving suggestion.

There should be an 'added' feature, a way to where we can decide how weak, and how tough we want the bots to be, before we even join the game. For example, level 1 bots can be very weak. Level 2 could be Normal bots. Level 3 could be strong bots. Level 4 could be very strong bots. And Level 0 could be an option to where the game chooses the bots as it already does now, they could be weak or strong compared to our hanger.

Each level should have a set reward.  For example, the weaker the mechs, the lower your rewards become. Maybe 5 acoins 2k credits. And the stronger they become, the higher your rewards.  Maybe 15 acoins and 6k credits. It depends. If we choose level 0, the rewards are random ranging from if we would have chosen weak to if we would have chosen very strong.

Also, I think it should be the same with how   unskilled and skilled we want the bots to be. For example, they could be very strong bots yet are very unskilled and that can depend your rewards, may 7 acoins and 5k credits and a few more rewards. Idk, I just think this is an excellent idea. What are your thoughts everyone.

Hello! The idea is fine, but it would have a massive impact on the current matchmaking system, so we don't consider such dramatic changes at this moment.

Tuanks, but How would it have a massive impact if the same way matchmaking works now, could, as I said, be available on level 0 bots. The only thing that'll change is the skill and level of the bots if we choose a level other than 0.

I think some of the problems is that people could abuse this feature, it will also reduce the amount of people playing with each other possibly because the system will have to split people into multiple groups that each play with different bot levels.

By being able to control the bot level, you could end up optimizing your mechs for this and end up with higher level players picking lower level bots on purpose. Right now its already happening by lowering your hanger level, but this issue is easier to solve and less work than to add selectable levels of bot strength.

The best way to balance things out is to black list specific mechs and weapons depending on the map (in other words, making so that some mechs and weapons won't be used), by doing this you don't end up with bots that are firing helix rack or mortars in a enclosed space, or at the very least not as much. Another thing that could be done is using some of the same tactics F.E.A.R used in thier games by forcing mechs to take specific roles in specific places on a map. (this would sadly be more work, but it would be the most effiecent)

In the end, this is just my point of view of it though.
