Intense, inappropriate, and inhumane.
These are just three of the words I came up with to describe certain features of this game.
Want some more?
Foul, yucky, nasty, vulgar, gross, unfitting, unsuitable, distasteful, sexualized, wrong, indecent, improper, crude, and the list goes on.
All of these words perfectly describe the physical state of many of the pilots in Mech Arena. Why I'm writing this post you might ask? I'm writing it because this topic is not brought up often. In fact, I've only seen it be discussed upon one, singular occasion. Another reason is because I have a set of values, standards, and morals that many of the pilots violate. Perhaps it is just me, but what has this game turned to?
If I am not making myself clear, I mean that the pilots are dressed inappropriately. Take Neev for example. Neev wears a form of tube-top with a small jacket on top. This shows lots of skin which is foul and disgusting. Want some more examples?
G-lock: a bare chest, ridden with tattoos and also with some type of goggles which seem to be embedded in his head.
Lodestar: another bare chest, and again, something viewers didn't ask for or need, along with cyborg-like parts sticking out of parts of his body.
Impulse: why do we even need that?
Chimera: a grossly mutated tiger with a backstory which somewhat suggests that he was mutated and maybe even forced to fight for Rosa da Silva.
Vox: another mutated alien-like creature with gadgets and gizmos sticking out of her body.
Neev (in greater depth): wearing and outfit which is simply disgusting along with green veins bulging throughout her head.
Samson: another pilot simply wearing an inappropriate outfit and yes, I do understand that she is supposed to be all muscular and girl power orriented, but why does she have to wear that outfit???
Acantha: covered in gadgets and gizmos, along with discolored veins, she is creepy.
Red: why did they do this to Red, of all pilots??? She was the humble, sweetest looking pilot and now she is showing parts of her cleavage and stomach! She also has face tattoos and what seems to be a nose bandaid which is kinda random.
The point I'm getting at is just that there are many players under the age of even 10, indicating that they are too young, sensitive, and fragile to be seeing this content!
I don't mean to get all preachy, but along with my set of morals, standards, and values, this is a violation of my religious codes which I don't think Plarium should be inducing.
Now, I'd like to get into something, far worse than the pilots. The ads which Plarium gives mobile players for in-game rewards.
Many of these ads are perfectly fine and suitable for younger players and older ones alike, however there are also many which bring foul imagery and concepts which even in my mature age are inappropriate.
I'm going to drive a nail into this post by saying that some of these ads include anime pornography. CrystalDrew, I am most sorry and apologetic if pornography is of ill-usage in these forums, and don't ban me from here for saying it, but it's the cold, hard truth.
These ads can contain anime women in small and revealing outfits and them struggling in chains! I'm not sure if you are aware of this, but I have seen it with my own eyes.
In addition to those gross ads, there are ones which include women doing dances in these inappropriate costumes which are flat out absurd and a violation of women as a whole. Even being a man, I can see that this is a violation of women and a misrepresentation of what women are.
With the pilots and these terrible ads, Mech Arena is attracting the wrong kinds of players because, at the end of the day, Mech Arena was always for all ages of people and now, it is maturing and exposing those younger persons to mature content which I also do not wish to experience.
To sum up everything I have discussed, Plarium should at least have some sort of a filter for what the pilots wear, or better yet there could be a setting for mature vs. young audiences where younger and those who are older like me could play without these disturbing things. However, you mus, undoubtedly remove the ads which are inappropriate.
I have been planning out this post for some time and I hope you will all take this into consideration and help end everything bad in this game.
