True. Although there are faults, but we never try to appreciate what a game they have made that to, for free.

You're not facing p2w players if you're killing them with 3 star anything 🤦‍♂️ you've obviously not been subjected to the trash matchmaking because you arent running high level pilots or are even running any of the bugged weapons. They don't update or correct anything for months so if that's what super speed is, I'd hate to see your description of slow...

You are wrong. I am not new, I have just have a p2w account and a f2p account. I have experienced the pain of matchmaking. Most games don't get updates for  multiple months. I have studied this game and I am very experienced. That is how I am successful even with the bad matchmaking. My p2w account has got 4 Star tengu, 3 star gatecrasher, 5 star Brickhouse, 4 stat redox, and 4 star surge.

A sometimes I am brutally destroyed by some p2w players, but overall, this game is fun. (I also use PC which is a BIG advantage)

No idea how you have enough time for 2 accounts. It's such a grind just having one. 

I do like the game also and it is mainly skill based but any average whale would totally destroy the best f2p player. Nothing wrong with that imo just stating facts. 

Bots are overpowered but that is a design feature to make you think you need to pay to compete. 

I'm a small spender but would only ever invest in legendary items and mechs from now on. 

Updates come out fast but the ones the community want take ages if they ever do make it into the game. Most updates are new content, and lately that content totally lacks creativity. Helix rack is nothing but a better javelin rack and the scatter gun is just better shotguns. The updates come quickly partly because the devs are lazy minded.

Yes, I agree. The recent new content has been kind of disappointing. Onyx is really just gatecrasher but worse.sentinel is better ares. They also do NOT need helix rack. Guided weapons are already incredibly annoying, but now we have more, and they're strong.

Not trying to get too far away from the original topic (and I agree that at its core, the game is fantastic!), but to address the helix, I agree that it was too soon for the helix missiles.  Mech Arena had just released the higher end versions of Javelins, so doing this was simply too soon.  I'd have rather seen the Helix missiles released say, 6 months from now instead of March.  

My suggestion would be to add more depth to the existing weapons categories.  The teased new Close Quarters Weapon is a great move.  But please consider adding to other categories that haven't had anything added since before the weapon name change back pre-v2.0.  For example Assault Weapons or Artillery Weapons.  And finally, mix it up a bit.  Give us no more than a couple different energy costs for a weapon at a time.  For example, a new Assault weapon that has an 8 and 12 cost version then an Artillery Weapon costing maybe 6 and 14 before giving us the 16 cost version of the previous Assault Weapon.  

Anyway, its just a thought.  Good game!!

The funny thing is, helix rack was fine upon release. Longer range and better tracking at the cost of slightly lower damage. But devs buffed it when nobody asked for it, which means they were just trying to sell it, why I don't believe balance was the reason for the mech and weapon grade update.

Rather the reason for that was also to sell stuff. They realized people asked the community for good purchases because they saw epic and legendary gear didn't immediately have the most impressive stats by far. They wanted to make it more likely for people to impulse purchase.

You may have paid to get your hangar but that's an average f2p hangar. Like I said, you're not killing anything with that hangar against any true p2w opponent that's running high level 6 star or maxed mechs/weapons. You also mentioned you get destroyed sometimes. Wouldn't happen if the matchmaking was actually fair to begin with. Yet, you're actually excusing it by calling the game overall fun to play. Matchmaking is the biggest factor for fun gameplay. Nobody (maybe some) wants to spend countless hours grinding or spending real money just to get destroyed...

I really don't care, I still win. And it is a fun game. The only explanation I can give is Surge.

Paid a lot? I only buy the battlepass every season. Sound like you work for plarium with that weak excuse for the trash matchmaking. Apparently you haven't studied the game enough since just about everyone from the new players to the seasoned vets are being subjected to this; been significantly worse since the grade update ...🤦‍♂️since you claim you win against hangars like mine, feel free to share your ID and we'll see how long you last;  how it's so much fun to get annihilated 🤣

You know what's cool? I have paid 6 dollars total (which is crazy for me). I get matched against people with 30-40 dollar mech + upgrades. Ya, great game.

Ya know, sometimes you have to ask yourself: why do I still play this game? And that's probably because it's fun, and there's nothing more to it.
