Dude, I feel your pain only because I was you a year or so ago. I too spent a few  bucks. Then they introduced the brand new "pilot" plan .. which absolutely NO one wanted except maybe a couple of serious ass kissers to UpperMgt. 

    So anyway, no one wanted the pilots, we all thought it was a trail leading down the road to eventually copy the business model of guess who? PIXONIC the company who owns the game we've probably all played at one point. ( I quit when the dash bots first showed, all my bits are old Lancelot's..)  and I came here and was impressed by the physics package. But the cracks showed pretty fast even way back then. Overcharging, sell you the latest and hottest weapon to come out the pipe... only to take a piss in your oatmeal by nerfing it into obs 

There are worse games. Other games including walking dead survival road completely nerfed all toons so they were unusable in 99 percent of situations. As stated in similar threads panther guardian and killshot are still playable. I understand your frustrations but it could be worse.

They have railguns now. At the top its 3 shots at 100,000 damage so the mech Brickhouse that you're supposed to take on as a team (i don't have that mech) gets two shots before it's done. So the only viable option is a shield that doesn't break but have fun making the panther be viable cuz they're just hide until you're shield is gone. You could use aegis but you HAVE to pay for that one. Any other game I've played railguns are super powerful but have a tradeoff of having only one bullet before you need to reload. Every new update I see more and more mechs and weapons that you HAVE to pay for to use. Then you mix orion with a railgun or anything else you want and then you have an insta kill machine. Would it make sense to not hide the vast majority of your content behind a pay wall? I'd assume so but it seems like the only way to enjoy new mech and weapons is pay way too much money or wait for a sale and get it at such a low star level that it's not viable to use. I just wish I knew the reason they did this. I almost bought some mechs but then I saw the star level and asked myself how many packs I'd have to buy to get it to a proper level (about 10 I'd assume) or how long I'd take to get it up with the random system. So I can pay most likely a couple hundred dollars or wait about a year or maybe longer. I'm getting to the point where I don't wanna play anymore and it's gonna be at the point where most people are going to be filled with nothing but bots in the game. Don't even get me started on mortars.
