Often times I'm playing with or against players who are 'always' online. I bet they are all bots.
I don't see their names in the recommended section of the friend list either. Usually, MVP from the last game is listed here https://9apps.ooo/ .
Some bots I've been paired with: yellowhatman, owowwhatsthis, punpkin, phoenixrisin
The bots should be identified in game as bots somehow. Not doing so just looks like you are trying to hide the fact that there is only 1 real player on each side.
Just google "mech arena list of bot names" and you're good
I can tell by the name all of the AI bots.

Most players are in clans. All bots are not so if I don't see a clan I assume bot. Also if they em rifle you through the eye of a needle then again probably a bot.
