Ricochet mechanics ?

is it something we'll see eventually? Would be interesting to see people having to think about when, where and how to fire in confined spaces etc

     Maybe this could be a new type of barrage weopon. It would do more damage the more times it bounces but with a maximum of 3 bounces before it falls and deals splash damage. It would have to have a huge damage radius-more than disc launcher- and deals half of a DL damage without bouncing, 3/4 damage with one bounce, same amount with two bounces, and 1.5 more damage with three bounces. This weapon would have no target lock whatsoever and the ammo would explode if it touched the . Gravity would not affect this weopon until the third bounce. It would be really cool if at first it was fast but got slower the more bounces it does. I'm thinking that it has 10 ammo but shoots really slow shooting once every three seconds and has a slow cooldown like 8 seconds. I'm thinking it is a shadowy sphere with a cool animation when it fires. Basically, ricocheting weopon that get more damage the more times it bounces, a huge damage radius but no lock-on and slow weopon cooldown.

I can imagine it will fit very well in the barrage and assault category, maybe the trajectory could be a bit simpler for easier implentation and use, this is definitely a weapons that will require some practice and some actual skill.
