It seems like f2p isn't supposed to get a-coins from specialization spree anymore because plarium hates f2p. For the longest time they did a bunch of p2w spree. They did the 3 most used f2p weapons once hoping we'd all shut up. Then they started doing re-run events where they ran the same stupid event just with different energy variants because they want to squeeze as many dollars as they can out of p2p.

not sure what anyone expects from a game with a p2w model at this point. 

it's 2022, you should understand by now that any p2w game is going to massively handicap f2p players. it is unavoidable. if they gave f2p more shit, then it would no longer be a p2w game, and all the whales would leave, along with their massive piles of irresponsibly spent cash.

you have to find a pure f2p or pure p2p game if you want an even playing field.

I think with the introduction of the neymar twins they have given f2p players a really nice boost. I notice a lot of events that used to give acoins dont anymore so with what they give with one hand they take with the other. 

I got second place in research event i refused to spend money.

im happy, the pay to win dude is happy.

everyone is happy.

i get to goku u til i have moar Silllllz and beat 'better' players and destroy their bots.

they get to get board and leave.

eventually the whales will get board.

you cant just make it too easy.

the mind needs the ability to loose and have a challenge.

i played forrever with a grind, and got power recently. Two special players and 20,000 i plant points by grinding slowly and dealing with the hard and getting better. Then i spent my hoard and i love the killshot pilot and the implant and the missile rack bro is the bomb and im having fun.

sure, i dont have enough power. But that grind made the boost enjoyable, and i truly leverage the gains with thousands of a coins and hundreds if thousands of credits of pure grind hoarded up the hard way. 

I know when a guy is going to sneek up on me, and im not there anymore.

so much fun.

besides. 

if you buy the new mechs, you cant get all the acheivements, and you dont need powerful mechs, you will be paired with easier players, or bots, when you fail.

just master the acheivements.

adapt. Develope plans And strategies. 

some gamemodes are better for certain weapons. Dont be afraid to loose a match or a few hundred or get close getting that acheivement. Its resources for free and skill, and you are destined to fail eventually Anyway.
