Disc Launcher needs a serious nerf

Somebody has to say it, even tho so many people love this broken weapon, But I find it incredibely annoying and low effort, what kind of weapon gets you kills for literally missing the target? there is no way to counter it in cramped 2v2 maps, your opponent all he has to do is hit any nearby structure and you get damaged even if you are perfectly hidden ? The damage radius makes absolutely no sense and it just ruins the game entirely, it's even higher than missiles and rockets ?

I see people complain about mortars, But I can easily deal with mortars, there are many counters for mortars in the game, and there is a huge compromises and disadvantages for most weapons  but DL ? I see none at all.

all the player has to do is spam that crap to oblivion on the walls nearby till you die.

Yes.  Use Surge, Shadow, or Tengu.

Don't start off with them.  Use anyone else.  When you do see someone with DL, once you die, switch to a mech that can go undercover (Surge, Shadow, Tengu).  BEFORE you start approaching the enemy, use their special ability to go undetected.  Move to a smart location.

You know the DL can blast off walls.. so don't hide behind a place that the blast can reach you.  Try to reach that desired location before you go back to being detectable.  Then don't move.  Learn how the detection system works.  You don't automatically appear on the enemy's radar until you're seen by someone.  Time their attack.  Wait for them to use their DL on the other mech.  Then use your ability to go undetected, and move closer to them so that you're in reach.

Some maps have a long walking distance so it requires more time.  But that's how I approach mechs with DL.  And if you really need more help, try loading JAV/DL on one side and a short-range weapon on the other.

DL's are very annoying, but this is the tactic I use to counter them and usually take them down.
