The second part of the Law & Disorder Event story is here! Find out how it all went down:
Acantha circled her. Unblinking. Unfaltering. But rattled. Her hair, usually immaculate, was tussled as if she’d got here in a rush. And there was a blob of something, gravy perhaps - by the corner of her mouth. No, this was not the Acantha known in the Arena. This was an entirely new beast. One, unkempt.
“You will answer me. Are you the leader of the Freedom Fighters?” Acantha slammed her palms down on the metal table, leaving a small trail of sweat in her wake.
Across from her, Ingrid leaned back, a small smirk unable to stop itself slipping out.
“As I’ve said, I won’t answer any of your questions until my lawyer is present.”
“Denied.” Acantha snarled.
Ingrid shrugged her shoulders and let her head roll back until it was facing the ceiling. She would not let Acantha psych her out. She wasn’t going to be scared into submission.
The pair stared each other down and Ingrid refused to falter. Acantha cursed under her breath before whirling out of the room.
Ingrid rubbed her temples. Truth be told, she was exhausted. The past year had been a whirlwind. Her father’s breakdown. Helping him get better. Working with Zero Chill to ease him back into his job. Being offered a Pilot contract. And then…the Freedom Fighters. All born from the realization that this world was bigger than her.
She’d seen how Rosa da Silva had campaigned against Z.C.’s help rehabilitating her father. It had snowballed into a chain of events, resulting in better working conditions and stronger rights for all of Z.C.’s employees. Other megacorporations had started facing similar pressures.
And they were scared. There was only so much that Z.C. could do, and Ingrid had seen an opportunity. Workers were ripe for change and it would benefit everyone. Or at least, almost everyone.
At that moment, Acantha reappeared. Trailing behind her was Rosa da Silva herself.
Ingrid’s heart stopped for a second, but she quickly composed herself.
Rosa said nothing as she took the seat across from Ingrid, Acantha flanking her like a bodyguard.
The silence continued on. A quiet war in stubbornness, no one wanting to break first.
Rosa looked up at Ingrid from behind her long lashes, her eyes glittering.
“What’s the end goal, Ingrid?” Rosa finally said, her voice a whisper.
“To get my lawyer here,” Ingrid replied.
Rosa flashed a deadly smile. “Get her lawyer on the phone immediately, Acantha. Have them brought here.”
“But-”
Rosa silenced her with a single look and Acantha nodded, backing out of the room reluctantly.
“Just you and me,” Rosa leaned forward. “I respect you. I don’t agree with what you’re doing, obviously, but it takes a certain kind of person to organize a group like this. It shows real…spirit.”
Ingrid said nothing.
Rosa continued. “You’re the kind of person I’m always looking for. Challengers. Disruptors. Leaders. So, I’m going to make you an offer. Come and work for me. I’ll promote you beyond your wildest dreams. Your current movement won’t survive. But together, we could properly channel and fund your ambition. Together, we could change the world.”
Ingrid’s stomach churned as she imagined it. She knew a honey trap when she saw one.
“While I’m flattered,” Ingrid lied, trying to buy herself more time until her lawyer arrived, “I am not the person you’re looking for.”
Rosa’s eyes narrowed. “Oh, but you are. One of your comrades spoke very highly of your leadership capabilities.”
Ingrid’s mind raced through who Rosa could mean. Was someone a mole? Or was Rosa calling her bluff?
“I will wait until my lawyer is here before talking any further,” Ingrid said firmly.
Ingrid could have sworn she heard Rosa hiss. “You’re making a mistake.”
“I disagree.”
Rosa turned to leave but lingered in the doorway.
“Let me say this. It’s the New Year. A time of resolutions, so here’s mine. I will take you down. No matter the cost. No matter how long it takes. I will ruin everything and everyone you love.”
Ingrid laughed. “What a lovely resolution. Since we’re sharing, let me be clear. Mine is to help ensure a freer, fairer world for everyone. That's all. Now, if that involves taking on corporations such as yours, so be it, but this is what the world needs. A fresh start, a real one.”
Rosa’s mouth curled up into a sneer, but before she could reply, Acantha burst through the door.
“Her lawyer is on their way.”
Sighing, Rosa flicked her hair back. “One day, you’ll look back on this moment and regret it.”
“Funny,” Ingrid replied. “I was going to say the same thing.”
Rosa waltzed out, not giving Ingrid a second look.
As the door clicked shut, Ingrid finally exhaled. She’d done it. She’d gone toe to toe with one of the most powerful people in the world, and she had not flinched. The road ahead was still long. Retaliation undoubtedly awaited her. But right now, she was alive. Her movement was strong and gaining momentum. And she was entering the new year with one main thing. Hope.
The last part is soon to be discovered, so keep an eye on our update on official COmmunity pages and in-game!

Hey, I’m not sure how you feel about donations, but I’m neutral on the matter. On one hand, donors are really powerful, BUT they’re not invincible. My favorite combo, M.D. + Disc Launcher, helps turn enemy mechs into dust. On the other hand, I understand that the developers need to make a profit from the project and cover the costs of 3D modelers, animators, artists, community managers, and game servers, so donations are necessary.
As for bots, I just can't believe that Plarium, with its 60 million-strong audience, can't provide us with 5v5 battles. I don’t understand the point of bots—sure, there's the advantage of faster matchmaking, but personally, I’d prefer bots to be removed from the game.
I’m happy for the developers though, because they’re creating some AMAZING graphics, beautifully designed mechs with cool abilities and skins (like M.D.). The only downsides to the game, in my opinion, are the bots and the somewhat shaky balance. I’m hoping for a major update that, according to rumors, will include a new game mode.
