LOL! It really doesn't matter if he does or doesn't. Devs will always make the game the same way to suit the most profit and that is to make a Weapon and or Mech that is OP to generate sales. Then nerf it/them and to try and show good will and then release the next OP stuff... Rinse and repeat. 

Hemlock got nerfed so hard it's basically worthless for cpc now. All so blitzfreeze can take it's place.

The new mech's ability is not a status effect, so it works on Eclipse.

I can confirm Hemlock is not worthless in cpc because since the change, I've been immobilized and killed more than once. I think it just needs a change in play and getting used to it. Of course, if you already had Hemlock, you wont like the change.

As long as you continue with your scam methods, with impossible matches, everything you do will be nothing but garbage. The usual garbage to sell. But the game will always be a big mess of bots and whales... differences between challengers of over 5-6k... the same old story. All to sell. Meanwhile, new players spend crazy amounts, only to find them crying here on the forum after 3-4 months... there are no changes. And the mechanics will always remain the same.

The game cheats and is programmed to cheat and these individuals call themselves game developers lmfao 🤣... they fit in well with this new generation that thinks they can change who and what they are whenever they feel it fits. These individuals aren't game developers, they are scam programmers. Mech Arena didn't deserve to be used and abused by it's programmers, here we are though with Mech Arena being one of the most rigged cheating games out there with a programming team that has a much deserved bad reputation. This game flat out cheats and they are proud of it.

What does "status effect" mean? I'm genuinely curious. I've seen the term a few times but unlike other games, this one doesn't clearly define it (as far as I can tell).

And if it isn't a status effect, what category of effect is it?

I'm yet to have a serious confrontation with opponents wielding the new weapon and mech, so I don't have a strong opinion, but I do agree with the OP about a couple of things.

1. Stasis at 30m + damage + speed boost + damage reduction all in one ability seems ridiculously over the top. Nomad maybe comes closest but I wouldn't be surprised if that is on the upcoming nerf lists.

2. There's no game mechanic (apart from the ill-defined status effect) that explains why it works on Eclipse. From what I've heard, it doesn't work on redeemer. Redeemer can still backtrack and shake it off like a status effect, which means either it's a bug or this ability explicitly discriminates against Eclipse in the game code :-). And that's just a lazy way of "countering" Eclipse.

No opinions yet about the beam weapon.

Like when facing Eclipse, I expect my main strategy against this mech will be to stay away :-). Unlike Eclipse however, when we do brawl I expect I will lose most times. Against Eclipse I still come out on top in a brawl many times because my mech can still move freely!

Icy grip is listed as a debuff that redeemer removes and it doesn't bypass anything else that blocks status effects, so it is clearly intentional. It literally just discriminates against eclipse by design.

Stupid cheap game design

Sure! But did you watch this video? It was confirmed that even more rebalance stages are coming, and there will be even more big changes after that. Thus, the current Meta won't last too long, and the tables can turn dramatically.

The table is always turned against the players.. it's the only way you know how to make money is by being shady. 

So you're telling me the newly released items can actually be changed within a year or even 2? Nah, you won't do it.

BTW yes I did watch the video. Before you felt the need to do it. You must understand I have no trust in plarium.

BTW what do devs have to say to the statement that blizzfrost is cheap for giving a debuff that breaks the rules but only against one mech. We said Eclipse was OP for being absolutely necessar because of EMP so you made a mech that gives a debuff that's not a debuff except it's only not a debuff when used against eclipse?

A WHOLE SERIES OF OPPONENTS 3-5 K STRONGER, proves that the rebalancing, balancing, and all the lies told up to now, are nonexistent. The game will always be based on who spends and who spends less. The game is becoming less and less fun. You are perfect manipulators...

Somehow I knew you were going to say that. I was just hoping you wouldn't. Give it a chance why? You just confirmed for me the new weapon is likely to be OP for at least the next 2 years. What are you going to do, just power creep everything else to meet it? Why don't we just make every weapon OP? Should I give it a chance for that?

I hate when your team says "give it a chance" because that implies you could surprise me except you NEVER do when you say that. That to me is confirmation that things are going to go exactly how I think they're going to go. Don't ask me to give it a chance. I have no good reason to.

Good job squandering any good you could have done for MA. I was close to considering it an actual game.
