Phone tracking app

I want to install a phone tracking app on my child's smartphone. But I'm concerned about whether my child will be able to see that they're being tracked, or if such apps can run entirely in the background?

What options are considered reasonable in terms of privacy?

Typically, solutions that allow monitoring activity through a separate control panel are chosen for this purpose, without overwhelming the child's phone with unnecessary notifications. With such services, everything is set up once, after which the data is simply displayed in the parent's account.

Usually, these apps are capable of operating in the background, however, the way you configure the settings and privacy preferences will affect whether they run there. For instance, uMobix  includes parental control features that allow parents to monitor their child’s phone usage and location. Parents may decide whether or not children are informed about being monitored. If parents wish to inform their child, they should do so in order to help them understand the reason behind the use of monitoring is for their safety rather than to control them completely.
