Hair dryer smell issue

Every time I turn on my hair dryer, there’s a faint burning smell. It still works, but the scent makes me uneasy. I’ve checked for visible dust and hair buildup. Is a burning smell in a hair dryer a sign of serious internal damage?

I noticed that too with my dryer, it wasn’t smoky or sparking, just that subtle burnt odor that makes you second-guess using it. Even when everything looked clean, I realized it could signal that parts are getting stressed or dust is trapped inside.

I had a similar uneasy feeling when my old dryer started smelling odd because it still worked but something felt off in the airflow and scent. Often a faint burning smell can come from internal dust or components heating unevenly, and that made me start looking at a hair dryer sale to find a replacement that felt safer and more reliable. Taking care of tools early felt like a better way to avoid real damage later.
