I haven't tested it yet, but how I think it works, there's an extra percentaje of free for offensive troops that die if they were sitting on a castle that gets hit, but for the defensive troops is still the same.
If that's how, with the infirmary at lvl 16, which gives "50% for offense and 30% for defense", an example to explain it would be:
I have 100 archers defending my castle (not including reinforcements), then someone attacks me killing everything, just when I had 100 wyverns coming back from raids. After that I should see I can revive 30 archers and 50 wyverns for free.
There are many players who left the game because of forgetting to hide their offense in their catacombs, so this would give them a better oportunity, but a bit tooo much expensive...
